The Stone

See the natural beauty of Nara up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this sintered stone unique.

Creamy off-white sintered stone with dense fractured veining and blue-grey depth — a luminous, onyx-like surface.

Dekton Nara creates a surface with genuine luminous depth. Its creamy off-white base with subtle warm undertones is covered by a dense intricate pattern of random, often fractured veining varying from fine threads to broader diffused movements. The veins blend lighter base-colour variations with soft translucent cool blue-grey and faint warm beige-grey tones that create layered depth. The polished smooth finish has a luminous quality with a hint of translucency in the lighter areas. Nara resembles marble or onyx — the translucent blue-grey tones within the dense veining give it a quality that goes beyond typical marble-effect surfaces. It glows rather than merely reflects. Engineered by Cosentino using TSP technology. Null porosity, UV resistant, A1 fire certified. 25-year warranty. Carbon neutral. Supplied and installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Nara

What does Dekton Nara look like?
Nara has a creamy off-white base with dense, intricate fractured veining across the entire surface. The veins blend lighter base tones with translucent cool blue-grey and faint warm beige-grey, creating layered depth. The polished finish has a luminous quality with hints of translucency. It resembles marble or onyx — genuinely glowing rather than merely reflective.
What creates the translucent quality?
The lighter areas within the fractured veining have a quality that suggests light passing through rather than bouncing off the surface. This translucency — particularly visible in the cool blue-grey tones — gives Nara a depth and luminosity that flat, opaque surfaces cannot achieve. It's most apparent under natural daylight.
Is Nara more marble or onyx in character?
Nara sits between the two. The dense fractured veining pattern references marble, but the translucent quality and cool blue-grey depth suggest onyx. The result is a surface with more visual depth than conventional marble-effect designs but without the bold, dramatic veining of pure onyx reproductions.
What cabinetry suits Nara?
The luminous, creamy base suits white cabinetry for a bright, ethereal kitchen. Pale grey creates a cool, contemporary scheme. Natural timber adds grounding warmth. The blue-grey translucent tones in the veining connect with cool-palette accessories and splashbacks. Chrome or brushed nickel hardware complements the cool depth.
Does Dekton need sealing?
Never — Dekton's null porosity means it has zero water absorption. No liquid can penetrate the surface, so sealing is unnecessary. This applies for the lifetime of the surface. It's one of the most hygienic worktop materials available, requiring only soap and water for cleaning.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
