Marble Effect Veined Subtle Minimal

Pale sage-grey sintered stone with sparse fine veining and diffused clouds — a quiet, coolly understated surface.

Dekton Sandik finds beauty in restraint. Its pale sage-grey base carries sparse to moderate veining — predominantly fine and thread-like with some broader diffused cloud-like areas in desaturated warm mid-grey flowing randomly and subtly diagonally. The polished surface is clean and smooth without speckling, flecking, or granular texture. Sandik's sage-grey base sets it apart from conventional white or warm-toned marble designs. The cool, slightly green-grey undertone creates a restful, contemplative quality. The sparse veining provides just enough visual movement to prevent flatness without competing with the calm, muted palette. Engineered by Cosentino using TSP technology. Null porosity, UV resistant, A1 fire certified. 25-year warranty. Carbon neutral. Supplied and installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Sandik

What does Dekton Sandik look like?
Sandik has a pale sage-grey base with sparse fine thread-like veining and broader diffused cloud-like areas in desaturated warm mid-grey. The polished surface is clean without speckling or texture. It reads as a quiet, coolly understated marble — restful sage-grey tones with just enough soft movement.
What makes the sage-grey unusual?
Most marble-effect surfaces have white, cream, or warm grey bases. Sandik's pale sage-grey has a subtle green-grey undertone that creates a cooler, more contemplative quality. It's a less common colour in the worktop market, making it distinctive without being bold. The cool tone connects well with nature-inspired interiors.
Is Sandik too subtle?
Subtlety is its purpose. Sandik creates a calm, composed kitchen where the worktop provides quiet elegance without demanding attention. The sparse veining adds enough interest to prevent flatness. For kitchens where other elements — cabinetry, lighting, artwork — should lead the design, Sandik provides a sophisticated neutral foundation.
What cabinetry suits Sandik?
White cabinetry creates a bright, fresh scheme. Natural timber adds warmth against the cool sage tones. Dark charcoal creates sophisticated contrast. Sage green or muted olive cabinetry creates a tonal, nature-inspired scheme. Both chrome and brushed nickel hardware complement the cool, muted palette.
Can Sandik be used for a kitchen island?
Sandik works beautifully for islands — the understated sage-grey provides a calm centrepiece that doesn't overwhelm the kitchen. Dekton's large format slabs (320×144cm) often allow island tops to be cut from a single slab, minimising joins. The polished finish creates a refined, clean island surface.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
