The Stone

See the natural beauty of Sirius up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this sintered stone unique.

Colour:

Charcoal Black Brown

Style:

Solid Plain Dark Minimal

Deep off-black sintered stone with very fine granular texture and matte finish — a dark, quietly solid surface.

Dekton Sirius — named after the brightest star — delivers darkness with material depth. Its very deep charcoal grey base with subtle warm brown undertone presents as off-black. No veining or bold pattern is visible — the surface appears largely uniform with only very fine consistent granular texture creating extremely subtle random mottling. The matte or honed finish has no reflective sheen. Sirius is the darkest solid design in the Dekton range. The warm brown undertone prevents it from being pure cold black — there's a quiet warmth within the darkness. The fine granular matte texture adds material honesty, distinguishing it from lacquered or painted surfaces. Engineered by Cosentino using TSP technology. Null porosity, UV resistant, A1 fire certified. 25-year warranty. Carbon neutral. Supplied and installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Sirius

What does Dekton Sirius look like?
Sirius is very deep charcoal grey with warm brown undertones — presenting as off-black. No veining or pattern, just very fine granular texture creating subtle mottling. Matte finish with no sheen. It's a dark, quietly solid surface — not pure cold black but off-black with hidden warmth and genuine material depth.
Why is it off-black rather than pure black?
The warm brown undertone within the deep charcoal gives Sirius depth that pure black lacks. In natural light, the warmth becomes subtly apparent, preventing the surface from looking flat or lifeless. The fine granular texture adds further dimension. It's a more nuanced, sophisticated darkness than absolute black.
Is matte dark practical?
Matte dark surfaces show dust and light marks, but the fine granular texture and subtle warm mottling help more than a pure flat black would. The matte finish itself hides fingerprints far better than polished black. Dekton's null porosity means nothing stains permanently. Regular microfibre wiping keeps it looking pristine.
What cabinetry suits Sirius?
White cabinetry creates maximum contrast — bright white against deep black is bold and clean. Natural timber adds warmth that connects with Sirius's brown undertones. For an immersive scheme, dark cabinetry creates a moody, architectural kitchen. Chrome or brass hardware both work — chrome for cool modernity, brass for warm contrast.
How does Sirius differ from Radium?
Both are deep, dark Dekton designs. Radium has visible taupe mottling and undulating movement — it's a dark concrete effect. Sirius is largely uniform with only very fine granular texture — it's a solid dark colour. Radium has visible tonal variation; Sirius has near-uniform darkness. Different collection philosophies.

"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
