Concrete Effect Industrial Cracked

Mid-grey sintered stone with bold dark crack-like veining and weathered mottling — a raw, dramatically fractured surface.

Dekton Soke fractures the concrete aesthetic with dramatic force. Its dominant mid-grey base with subtle diffuse shading variations has a slightly weathered appearance. Sparse bold jagged dark charcoal-black lines resembling natural cracks traverse diagonally across the slab. The matte or honed finish has very fine granular texture with underlying subtle lighter grey mottling. Soke is the most dramatic design in the Industrial collection. The crack-like veining creates genuine visual tension — a surface that looks like it's been stressed and fractured by time and pressure. This controlled disruption within the calm grey background is precisely what gives Soke its raw industrial power. Engineered by Cosentino using TSP technology. Null porosity, UV resistant, A1 fire certified. 25-year warranty. Carbon neutral. Supplied and installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Soke

What does Dekton Soke look like?
Soke has a mid-grey base with subtle weathered shading. Sparse bold jagged dark charcoal-black lines resembling natural cracks traverse diagonally. Fine granular texture and lighter grey mottling add background depth. Matte finish. It's a dramatically fractured concrete surface — raw industrial power with dark, crack-like veining cutting across calm grey.
Are the crack-like lines structural?
No — the dark lines are a visual design element, not actual cracks. Dekton is one of the strongest surface materials available, engineered under 25,000 tons of pressure. The crack aesthetic is purely decorative — it captures the visual drama of stressed concrete while delivering the opposite: extreme structural integrity.
How does Soke compare to Kreta?
Both are Industrial mid-grey concrete designs, but with completely different drama levels. Kreta is pure, quiet concrete with only subtle mottling. Soke adds bold dark crack-like veining that crosses the surface diagonally. Kreta is calm uniformity; Soke is controlled disruption. Same grey, entirely different character.
What design schemes suit Soke?
The dramatic cracked aesthetic suits industrial loft conversions, warehouse-style kitchens, and contemporary urban designs. It pairs with exposed brick, raw metal fixtures, and dark cabinetry. The bold veining makes it a statement surface — it should be the kitchen's defining material choice, not a background element.
Is the sparse veining consistent across slabs?
Dekton's manufacturing process creates slab-to-slab consistency in the general pattern, but the exact position of crack-like veins varies naturally. In2Stone plans slab layout during templating to ensure the crack-like veining falls in the most visually effective positions across your specific worktop configuration.

"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
