Colour:

Black

Dense black with fine crystalline micro-speckling — the famous granite of Zimbabwe reinterpreted in sintered stone.

Neolith Nero Zimbabwe recreates one of the world’s most celebrated dark natural stones — Zimbabwe Black granite — in a sintered stone format that preserves its visual character while eliminating every maintenance concern. Its deep black surface is animated by very fine crystalline micro-speckling in dark grey and subtle silver tones, creating a visual depth and mineral character that flat, featureless black surfaces cannot achieve. The speckling is subtle enough to read as solid black at distance, but reveals its geological complexity up close. Part of the Fusion collection and finished in Satin, Nero Zimbabwe delivers genuine natural stone personality with the complete durability and zero-maintenance performance of sintered stone.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Nero Zimbabwe

What does Neolith Nero Zimbabwe look like?
Neolith Nero Zimbabwe recreates the famous Zimbabwe Black granite with a deep black surface animated by very fine crystalline micro-speckling in dark grey and subtle silver tones. At distance it reads as solid black; up close, it reveals genuine geological complexity and mineral depth. It is the most natural-looking dark surface in the Neolith range.
How does Nero Zimbabwe differ from Nero?
Nero is a pure, flat solid black from the Colorfeel collection — completely uniform with no visible texture. Nero Zimbabwe from the Fusion collection has fine crystalline micro-speckling that gives it natural stone character and geological depth. Choose Nero for absolute minimal purity; Nero Zimbabwe when you want dark intensity with natural stone personality.
What is Zimbabwe Black granite?
Zimbabwe Black is one of the world's most celebrated natural granites, quarried in Zimbabwe and prized for its incredibly dense, pure black colour with fine crystalline speckling. It has been used in prestigious architectural projects worldwide. Neolith Nero Zimbabwe captures this stone's visual character in sintered stone, delivering its beauty without the porosity, sealing requirements, and maintenance concerns of natural granite.
Is Nero Zimbabwe suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. Nero Zimbabwe is fully suitable for outdoor kitchens, barbecue areas, and garden features. The sintered stone surface is completely UV stable — the black tone will not fade or grey in sunlight, unlike some natural black stones that can lighten with UV exposure. It also resists freeze-thaw cycles and extreme temperature changes.
What design styles suit Nero Zimbabwe?
Nero Zimbabwe works beautifully in contemporary, luxury, and architecturally confident design schemes. Its natural granite character gives it a gravitas that pure solid-colour blacks do not possess. It pairs exceptionally well with warm timber, brushed brass, natural stone accessories, and rich textiles for interiors that feel grounded, substantial, and sophisticated.

"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
