The Stone

Swirled Exotic Polished

Brazilian exotic with vibrant golden-yellow swirling veining dramatically contrasting a deep polished black base.

Titanium Gold granite is the most chromatically intense member of the Brazilian Titanium family — a stone that commits fully to the contrast between deep black and vibrant gold. The slab presents a dominant deep black base with a highly polished finish, characterised by dense bold dramatically swirling veining in vibrant golden-yellow transitioning into warmer cream and light beige. The veins are medium to very broad, forming large distinct patches that create a high-contrast busy pattern with dynamic movement. Subtle hints of warm brown-grey within the lighter areas add tonal depth.

Titanium Gold makes no attempt at subtlety — this is a granite that announces itself with confidence and demands attention. The golden-yellow veining against the deep black base creates one of the highest-contrast colour combinations available in natural stone. The broad, swirling vein formations mean that some sections of the slab will be predominantly gold while others remain predominantly black, creating a surface of constantly shifting visual weight. Despite this dramatic appearance, the stone performs as standard granite: Mohs 6–7 hardness, excellent heat resistance, and the dense igneous composition characteristic of Brazilian exotics.

In2Stone recommends Titanium Gold as the ultimate statement stone for clients who want their kitchen to make an unforgettable impression. It works best as a singular focal point — a feature island or bar — surrounded by simple, neutral cabinetry that does not compete. Dark charcoal, matt black, or clean white units provide the necessary restraint. Gold or brass hardware echoes the veining for a cohesive luxury feel.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Titanium Gold

How gold is Titanium Gold granite?
Genuinely vibrant — the veining is a warm golden-yellow that reads as clearly and confidently gold rather than subtly warm. The broad swirling patches create large areas of golden colour against the deep black base, producing one of the highest-contrast natural stone surfaces available.
Is Titanium Gold suitable for a full kitchen?
The intense contrast can be overwhelming across every surface in a typical kitchen. It works most effectively as a feature element — an island, bar, or single worktop run — with simpler surfaces elsewhere. In very large kitchens with restrained cabinetry, broader use can work dramatically.
How does Titanium Gold compare to Titanium and Titanium Black?
Titanium has stark white-on-black veining for maximum graphic contrast. Titanium Black has subtler warm beige-golden veining. Titanium Gold goes furthest with vibrant golden-yellow tones — it is the warmest and most colourful of the three. Choose based on how bold you want the gold tone to be.
What lighting works best with Titanium Gold?
Warm directional lighting maximises the golden tones — warm-white spotlights or pendant lights that cast light across the surface bring out the vibrant yellow-gold colour. Cool fluorescent lighting will flatten the warmth. Invest in good warm lighting to get the full effect.
Does Titanium Gold vary between slabs?
Significantly. The balance of gold and black, the size and distribution of golden patches, and the intensity of the yellow tones differ from slab to slab. Personal slab selection is essential to choose the specific gold-to-black ratio that suits your design vision.

"We decided to get bespoke granite work tops for our new kitchen and have to say that we are over the moon with them. From the outset, Ian was very professional when selecting the stone, he listened to what we wanted, went through all of the possibilities that we could have for our worktops and went through the process in detail once we had made a decision. The templateing and fitting was carried out by an incredibly professional and helpful team run by Kev, who knew exactly what they were doing and just got on and made my kitchen look amazing. I would highly recommend In2stone for a helpful, knowledgeable and professional service from start to finish."
