An exceptionally rare French Alpine marble from a single quarry with ethereal blue-grey tones
Bleu de Savoie is an exceptionally rare crystalline marble quarried from a single quarry in the Savoy Alps of eastern France — one of only a handful of French marbles still in active production. Its pale blue-grey surface is woven with delicate white and silver veins that create a soft, misty, almost ethereal quality reminiscent of the Alpine landscape from which it is born. The distinctive blue-grey tones are genuine rather than a trick of the light — this is a truly blue-toned marble. Extracted from its solitary Alpine quarry, Bleu de Savoie is available in limited quantities, making it one of the most exclusive marbles on the European market. It is traded by leading Italian stone houses including Margraf and Ziche, underscoring its premium positioning among the world's finest natural stones. As a kitchen worktop, it offers something genuinely rare — authentic French Alpine heritage combined with a colour palette that no other marble can replicate. Requires regular sealing and gentle care.
