Blue Roma is an extraordinary Brazilian quartzite whose otherworldly appearance sets it apart from virtually every other natural stone. Commercially traded alongside marbles, this remarkable stone features a translucent sage-green and pale blue-grey base covered with mesmerising concentric ring formations and flowing organic patterns — almost cellular or agate-like in structure — intersected by dramatic veins of amber-gold and warm brown. Described by one leading supplier as having a "robin's egg blue opaque ground with branching veins of golden cedar and redwood," Blue Roma's visual complexity is genuinely unique.
