Coffee Onyx presents a completely distinctive aesthetic within the onyx family: a creamy white base scattered with rounded brown and tan agate-like formations, each one a miniature geological artwork of concentric coffee, caramel, and ivory banding. The effect is unlike anything you will find in marble, granite, or quartzite — this stone looks like a curated collection of geological specimens embedded in luminous cream, creating a surface that invites close inspection and rewards it with endlessly fascinating detail. Each polished formation reveals layered bands that tell the story of mineral-rich water depositing calcium carbonate over centuries, and the translucent body of the stone ensures that backlighting brings both the base and the formations vividly to life. Quarried in Turkey, Coffee Onyx represents the more geological and specimen-like end of the onyx spectrum.
