The Stone

See the natural beauty of Concrita up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this porcelain unique.

Colour:

Dark Grey

Dark grey concrete distilled into porcelain — a bold, urban surface that brings raw industrial edge to kitchens and commercial interiors.

Concrita takes the concrete trend into darker, bolder territory with its medium-dark grey base and subtle brushed texture that evokes freshly trowelled cement. This is an unapologetically urban surface — designed for kitchens and bathrooms that embrace industrial design language with confidence. The darker grey tone creates a commanding presence that pairs strikingly with white cabinetry, polished stainless steel, and light-toned timber for dramatic contrast. Unlike genuine concrete, Concrita will never crack, absorb moisture, or develop surface staining. Its porcelain body is fully non-porous and scored a perfect 5 out of 5 across all performance categories, making it as practical as it is visually compelling. The Honed finish enhances the concrete character with a smooth, matte surface.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Concrita

How dark is Concrita compared to Aluminous?
Concrita is noticeably darker than Aluminous. Aluminous is a medium cool grey with a soft concrete appearance, while Concrita is a medium-dark grey with a more pronounced, trowelled concrete texture. If Aluminous is a freshly poured light concrete, Concrita is a darker, more industrial cement finish.
Does Concrita have any veining or pattern?
Concrita has no veining in the traditional marble sense. Its character comes from a subtle vertical brushed texture that resembles the marks left by a trowel on freshly rendered concrete. This texture is understated but gives the surface an authentic industrial quality that sets it apart from a flat, featureless grey.
Will Concrita make my kitchen look too dark?
Concrita is a medium-dark grey rather than black, so it brings depth and drama without the extreme darkness of surfaces like Impermia or Emprada. It works best when paired with lighter elements — white cabinetry, light timber, or pale wall colours — to create striking contrast. The dark surface anchors the room while lighter elements keep it feeling open.
Can Concrita be used as interior wall cladding?
Yes. Concrita's industrial concrete aesthetic makes it an excellent choice for interior wall cladding and feature walls. The dark grey tone and trowelled texture create an urban, loft-style atmosphere. The large 1600×3200mm slab format means fewer joints and a more seamless concrete-wall effect.
Does Concrita's dark colour show water spots or fingerprints?
Darker surfaces can show water spots and fingerprints more visibly than lighter ones, but Concrita's Honed finish and subtle trowelled texture help mask daily marks. The texture breaks up surface reflections, making fingerprints and water spots far less noticeable than they would be on a dark polished surface.

"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
