The Stone

See the natural beauty of Chianca di Ostuni up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this porcelain unique.

Style:

Stone Effect Plain

A sun-warmed cream-beige porcelain with the organic character of Pugliese limestone — Mediterranean warmth for inviting homes.

Chianca di Ostuni takes its name from the famous white city of Puglia, and its warm cream-beige surface captures the sun-baked character of southern Italian limestone. Gentle cloudy tonal variations shift softly between pale cream and warmer sand tones, with very faint fossil-like impressions adding organic depth. This is a surface steeped in Mediterranean warmth — the kind that makes a kitchen feel like it belongs in a sun-drenched Italian villa, even in the middle of an English winter. The organic, rustic texture works beautifully with terracotta tiles, olive-green cabinetry, and rustic timber accents. As a sintered porcelain surface manufactured by Gruppo Concorde in Italy, it provides the warmth of natural limestone without any susceptibility to stains, etching, or moisture damage.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Chianca di Ostuni

What inspired Infinity Chianca di Ostuni?
Chianca di Ostuni takes its name and inspiration from the famous white city of Ostuni in Puglia, southern Italy. The warm cream-beige surface captures the sun-baked character of Pugliese limestone — the ancient, weathered stone used to build the region's iconic whitewashed towns. Gentle cloudy tonal variations and faint fossil-like impressions add authentic geological depth.
Is Infinity Chianca di Ostuni good for a Mediterranean-style kitchen?
Chianca di Ostuni is one of the most naturally Mediterranean surfaces in the entire Infinity collection. Its warm cream-beige palette instantly evokes sun-drenched Italian architecture, and it pairs beautifully with terracotta floor tiles, olive-green cabinetry, rustic timber details, and natural linen textiles — all the materials of relaxed southern European living.
Does Infinity Chianca di Ostuni need maintenance?
Chianca di Ostuni requires virtually zero maintenance. Simply wipe clean with warm water and a mild detergent for daily care. No sealing, polishing, or specialist treatment is ever needed. The sintered porcelain surface maintains its warm cream-beige appearance indefinitely without any deterioration, regardless of how heavily it is used.
Can Infinity Chianca di Ostuni be used for outdoor dining tables?
Yes, Chianca di Ostuni is well-suited to outdoor dining table applications. The sintered porcelain is completely UV-stable (the warm cream colour will not fade), weather-resistant, and frost-proof. The Mediterranean character of the surface makes it a particularly fitting choice for outdoor dining settings, evoking the ambience of an Italian al fresco meal.
What makes Infinity Chianca di Ostuni different from Palladium Ivory?
While both surfaces share a warm, neutral palette, they have distinctly different characters. Palladium Ivory is smoother and more refined with an almost uniform, polished limestone quality. Chianca di Ostuni is warmer and more organic, with gentle cloudy variations, fossil-like impressions, and a rustic Mediterranean personality that Palladium Ivory's refined smoothness deliberately avoids.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
