The Stone

See the natural beauty of Orobico Luxe up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this porcelain unique.

Colour:

Grey Brown Taupe

A richly layered porcelain of warm grey, taupe, and brown swirling bands — geological drama captured in Italian ceramic.

Orobico Luxe presents a richly layered composition of warm grey, taupe, brown, and white in thick, muscular veining that sweeps horizontally across the slab. The effect is intensely geological — undulating bands of colour that seem to have been formed by immense pressure over aeons. Darker charcoal patches interrupt paler cream zones while faint golden highlights shimmer through the depths. This surface commands attention in a way that feels grounded and natural rather than flashy. It works particularly well as a dramatic kitchen island or bathroom vanity where its horizontal movement can be appreciated at close range. Manufactured by Gruppo Concorde in Italy, the 3200 × 1600mm format provides seamless coverage for even the largest worktop runs, and as sintered porcelain it offers complete resistance to stains, heat, and scratches.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Orobico Luxe

What colours are in the Infinity Orobico Luxe surface?
Orobico Luxe features richly layered tones of warm grey, taupe, brown, and white in thick, undulating bands that sweep horizontally across the slab. Darker charcoal patches contrast with pale cream zones, while faint golden highlights shimmer through the depths. The overall palette is earthy, warm, and deeply geological in character.
What stone is Infinity Orobico Luxe based on?
Orobico Luxe is inspired by the Orobico marble quarried in Lombardy, northern Italy. The original Orobico marble is prized for its distinctive banded pattern and warm grey-brown colouring. Infinity's porcelain interpretation captures these characteristics in a more consistent, larger-format slab that is completely maintenance-free and impervious to staining.
Is Infinity Orobico Luxe suitable for a bathroom?
Orobico Luxe is exceptionally well-suited to bathroom installations. Its warm grey and taupe tones create a spa-like atmosphere, and the sintered porcelain body is completely impervious to water, steam, and humidity. It works beautifully as a bathroom vanity, shower wall panel, or bath surround. The 12mm thickness is the most popular choice for bathroom applications.
How does Infinity Orobico Luxe handle heavy use?
Orobico Luxe handles heavy use with ease. The sintered porcelain surface is extremely hard and scratch-resistant, UV-stable, heat-proof, and completely stain-proof. It is used in both residential kitchens and commercial installations such as restaurant countertops and hotel bathrooms, where it endures constant daily use without showing any signs of wear or deterioration.
What edge profiles are possible with Infinity Orobico Luxe?
The 20mm thickness of Orobico Luxe allows fabricators to create a wide range of edge profiles including pencil round, bullnose, bevelled, chamfered, and mitre-joined edges. The 12mm thickness suits slimmer contemporary profiles, while the 6mm can be mitre-joined to create the appearance of a thicker edge. Your fabricator can advise on the best edge profile for your kitchen design.

"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
