Style:

Stone Effect Travertine

A richly layered taupe-beige travertine-effect porcelain with authentic banded texture — grounded Italian warmth for inviting homes.

Travertino Chiaro captures the warmly layered character of cross-cut travertine in a richly textured porcelain surface. Vertical striations of varying intensity create an authentic, banded appearance, with a soft mushroom-grey base punctuated by lighter cream bands and occasional darker accent lines. The overall palette is warm and grounded — the kind of surface that makes a kitchen feel like a home and a bathroom feel like a retreat. Unlike natural travertine, which requires regular sealing and careful handling of acidic substances, this Infinity version is completely non-porous and maintenance-free. Produced by Gruppo Concorde in Italy at 3200 × 1600mm, it provides generous coverage for large installations while maintaining the authentic character that natural stone lovers demand.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Travertino Chiaro

How does Infinity Travertino Chiaro differ from Travertino Trilogy?
Travertino Chiaro has a deeper, warmer palette compared to Trilogy. Its base is a soft mushroom-grey rather than cream, with more pronounced vertical striations featuring darker accent lines. The overall effect is richer and more characterful — while Trilogy is the warm, versatile all-rounder, Chiaro is the more distinctive, earthier choice.
Is Infinity Travertino Chiaro warm or cool?
Travertino Chiaro is definitively warm. Its soft mushroom-grey base, cream banding, and taupe accent lines create a palette drawn entirely from the warm side of the spectrum. This warmth makes it an excellent choice for kitchens and bathrooms where a cosy, inviting atmosphere is the primary design goal.
Does Infinity Travertino Chiaro need sealing?
No, Travertino Chiaro never needs sealing. Unlike natural travertine, which is highly porous and requires frequent sealing to prevent staining and water damage, Infinity's porcelain version is completely non-porous with zero water absorption. This is one of the most significant practical advantages of choosing a porcelain travertine effect over the natural stone.
Can Infinity Travertino Chiaro be used in a wet room?
Yes, Travertino Chiaro is completely impervious to water, making it ideal for wet room installations including shower walls, bathroom floors, and bath surrounds. The sintered porcelain body absorbs zero moisture and is resistant to mould, mildew, and all humidity-related issues. The satin finish provides excellent anti-slip properties for safety in wet areas.
What flooring works with Infinity Travertino Chiaro worktops?
Travertino Chiaro pairs naturally with warm-toned flooring. Natural timber in oak or walnut creates a harmonious earthy combination. Large-format stone-effect tiles in complementary beige or grey tones provide visual flow. Even polished concrete floors work well, as the warm travertine effect provides an inviting counterpoint to the cooler floor surface.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
