The Stone

See the natural beauty of White Macaubas up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this porcelain unique.

A silky cream porcelain with delicate taupe linear veining — refined minimalism inspired by rare Brazilian quartzite.

White Macaubas draws inspiration from one of the world's most sought-after quartzites, translating its characteristic linear veining and warm cream tones into a virtually indestructible porcelain slab. Fine threads of soft taupe and pale grey trace long, parallel diagonal paths across the warm white surface — understated, restrained, and beautifully calm. This is a surface for those who appreciate the quiet luxury of natural stone's subtleties rather than its drama. Produced by Gruppo Concorde in Italy at 3200 × 1600mm, White Macaubas is available in three thicknesses: 6mm for wall cladding, 12mm for lightweight countertops, and 20mm for traditional worktop applications. Its silky appearance belies its remarkable toughness — completely non-porous, scratch-resistant, stain-proof, and maintenance-free.

Frequently Asked

Questions About White Macaubas

What stone is Infinity White Macaubas inspired by?
Infinity White Macaubas is inspired by the natural White Macaubas quartzite quarried in Brazil, which is one of the world's most sought-after natural stones. The porcelain version faithfully captures the quartzite's characteristic fine linear veining and warm cream tones, translating its silky, refined quality into a surface that is virtually indestructible and completely maintenance-free.
Is Infinity White Macaubas a warm or cool surface?
White Macaubas sits firmly on the warm side of the spectrum. Its base colour is a soft, creamy off-white rather than a stark, cool white, and its fine taupe veining adds additional warmth. This makes it an ideal choice for kitchens and bathrooms where a warm, inviting atmosphere is desired, and it pairs particularly well with natural timber, warm metallics, and earth-toned colour schemes.
How does Infinity White Macaubas compare to natural quartzite?
While natural White Macaubas quartzite is a beautiful stone, it requires careful maintenance including regular sealing, cautious handling of acidic substances, and professional polishing over time. Infinity's porcelain version offers the same visual character — the warm cream tones and delicate linear veining — without any of these maintenance demands. It is also more consistent in pattern, available in larger slabs, and significantly more affordable.
What thickness should I choose for a White Macaubas kitchen worktop?
For kitchen worktops, the 20mm thickness is the most popular choice as it provides a substantial, premium edge profile and matches the proportions that most kitchen cabinet systems are designed for. The 12mm thickness can also work well for kitchens where a slimmer, more contemporary edge is preferred, particularly on waterfall-edge island designs.
Can Infinity White Macaubas be bookmatched?
While natural stone bookmatch relies on the unique pattern of individual slabs, Infinity porcelain surfaces are designed with consistent patterns that allow fabricators to create visually continuous installations across multiple slabs. The subtle linear veining of White Macaubas lends itself particularly well to seamless multi-slab layouts, as the delicate pattern creates a natural flow from one slab to the next.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
