Concrete Effect Industrial Matte Finish Subtle

Pale ivory-cream quartz with a matte concrete-style finish — a crisp, understated industrial surface.

Caesarstone Fresh Concrete from the Metropolitan collection delivers the clean, raw aesthetic of newly poured concrete. Its very pale ivory-cream base carries an extremely sparse pattern of thread-like random wisps in barely perceptible pale warm grey, offering the slightest hint of natural variation without introducing any visual busyness. The low-sheen matte finish and fine uniform granular texture complete the concrete illusion. Fresh Concrete occupies the lightest end of the industrial spectrum — it's concrete refined and distilled rather than rough and raw. The subtle warmth in the ivory-cream base prevents it feeling cold, making it liveable in domestic kitchens while maintaining its contemporary edge. Unlike Caesarstone's polished designs, the concrete finish has a tactile, matte quality that suits handleless cabinetry and minimalist schemes. Engineered from up to 90% natural quartz minerals with a lifetime residential warranty. Available in jumbo 3270 × 1640mm slabs with 20mm or 30mm thicknesses. Supplied and installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Fresh Concrete

What does Caesarstone Fresh Concrete look like?
Fresh Concrete has a very pale ivory-cream base with extremely sparse, barely perceptible wisps of pale warm grey. The matte finish has a fine, uniform granular texture that recreates the feel of freshly poured concrete. There's virtually no pattern or movement — it reads as a clean, crisp, near-solid surface with just the faintest natural variation.
What is the concrete finish?
Caesarstone's concrete finish is a matte, tactile surface specifically designed to replicate the look and feel of raw concrete. It lacks the reflectivity of polished quartz, instead offering a soft, low-sheen quality. This finish needs slightly more daily attention than polished — Caesarstone recommends keeping the surface dry and wiping spills promptly.
How does Fresh Concrete differ from Raw Concrete?
Both are Metropolitan concrete-style designs, but Fresh Concrete is significantly lighter — a pale ivory-cream compared to Raw Concrete's darker grey. Fresh Concrete is brighter and warmer, suited to light, airy kitchens. Raw Concrete is more industrial and moody. They can be combined in the same kitchen for tonal contrast.
Does the concrete finish require more maintenance?
Slightly. Caesarstone notes that honed, concrete, and rough finishes require more daily attention than polished. Keep the surface dry, wipe away liquid spills promptly to prevent patina build-up, and use a neutral cleaner. It's not demanding, but it does need a little more care than a polished surface.
What kitchen styles suit Fresh Concrete?
Fresh Concrete is designed for minimalist, Scandinavian, and contemporary industrial kitchens. It pairs naturally with handleless cabinetry, matt black hardware, pale timber, and exposed concrete or plaster walls. The warm ivory tone also works in softer, coastal-inspired schemes where a pure grey concrete would feel too cold.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
