The Stone

See the natural beauty of Elegance Michelangelo up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

A show-stopping white quartz with a bold, sweeping grey vein that carves a dramatic river of movement across the slab — Statuario marble at its most theatrical.

Elegance Michelangelo is one of the most visually commanding surfaces in the Compac range. A single broad, flowing grey vein sweeps diagonally across a bright white base, creating a dramatic river of movement that gives the slab genuine architectural presence. The vein is soft grey with darker grey edges and branching secondary threads that add organic depth and natural complexity. The white areas between the veining are clean and luminous, amplifying the impact of the central feature. This is a surface designed for large kitchen islands and feature walls where the full sweep of the veining can be appreciated without interruption. Manufactured by COMPAC in Spain using 93-95% natural quartz crystals bound with BIO-resins, Elegance Michelangelo is completely non-porous — it will never stain from red wine, coffee, or cooking oils. NSF and Greenguard certified for safety and indoor air quality, with a 25-year residential warranty that reflects the durability of Spanish engineering.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Elegance Michelangelo

What does Compac Elegance Michelangelo look like?
Elegance Michelangelo features a warm white base with soft, flowing grey veining and subtle warm brown undertones. The veining is moderately present with a gentle, painterly quality that evokes the artistry of Italian marble. Fine veins weave across the surface in organic, flowing patterns — neither too sparse nor too dramatic, creating a refined, classical marble aesthetic.
How does Elegance Michelangelo differ from Compac Carrara?
Both are marble-look surfaces, but they have distinctly different characters. Carrara features very fine, wispy grey veining on a cool white base for maximum understatement. Elegance Michelangelo is warmer and richer — more present veining with subtle brown undertones that give it a softer, more Mediterranean warmth. Choose Carrara for cool minimalism, Michelangelo for warm classical elegance.
Is Elegance Michelangelo suitable for a luxury bathroom?
Beautifully so. The warm marble aesthetic creates a genuinely luxurious atmosphere for vanity tops, splashbacks, and wall cladding. The completely non-porous surface handles water, soap, and cosmetics without any staining risk. Combined with brass or gold fixtures and warm lighting, Michelangelo transforms a bathroom into a hotel-quality retreat.
What hardware finishes complement Elegance Michelangelo?
The warm brown undertones in the veining make brushed brass, antique bronze, and warm gold tap hardware particularly harmonious partners. These warm metallics pick up the same tones in the stone, creating a cohesive, luxurious design language. Polished chrome also works well if you prefer a cooler, more contemporary contrast.
Can Elegance Michelangelo be used on a large kitchen island?
Yes, and it performs beautifully on islands. The flowing, organic veining creates natural visual interest across large surfaces without being overwhelming. The 3250 x 1500mm slab size accommodates many island configurations with minimal joins, and the consistent warm marble pattern ensures a harmonious, unified result.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
