The Stone

See the natural beauty of Ice Gold up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

A luxurious white quartz with ornate golden-amber veining that spreads in delicate, organic tendrils — warm marble elegance with a distinctly golden character.

Ice Gold delivers warm marble luxury through its intricate network of golden-amber veining on a clean white base. The veining is complex and organic — delicate tendrils spread across the surface in patterns that range from fine threads to wider formations, each carrying warm gold, amber, and soft grey-brown tones. The result is a surface with remarkable visual depth and movement that draws the eye across the slab. Ice Gold pairs naturally with brushed brass or gold-toned fixtures, creating a cohesive warm palette that feels considered and luxurious. The warm veining tones also complement natural timber cabinetry beautifully. Part of the COMPAC Ice collection, this surface is manufactured in Spain from 93-95% natural quartz crystals bound with polyester or BIO-resins. The completely non-porous composition means it never requires sealing and is fully resistant to staining. NSF and Greenguard certifications confirm its suitability for food preparation and indoor environments. The 25-year residential warranty provides lasting confidence.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Ice Gold

What makes Compac Ice Gold special?
Ice Gold is one of the most distinctive surfaces in the Compac range, featuring a white base with flowing veining that carries genuine warm gold and amber undertones alongside grey. The gold tones give it a luxurious warmth that sets it apart from the grey-only marble-look surfaces, creating a worktop that feels opulent and precious.
Does Ice Gold look like real gold marble?
Ice Gold captures the aesthetic of rare gold-veined Italian marbles with remarkable fidelity. The warm golden veins flow naturally across the white base with varying intensity and direction, achieving the organic character of geological mineral deposits. At first glance, many people cannot distinguish it from natural stone.
What tap and hardware finishes suit Ice Gold?
Brushed brass and brushed gold tapware are the ultimate pairing, echoing the golden veining for a beautifully cohesive, luxurious scheme. Antique bronze also complements the warm tones wonderfully. If you prefer a cooler contrast, polished chrome provides a striking counterpoint that highlights the warmth in the stone.
Is Ice Gold suitable for a classic luxury kitchen?
It is almost purpose-made for it. The warm golden veining conveys opulence and refinement that works beautifully with traditional painted cabinetry, ornate mouldings, warm timber flooring, and period-appropriate hardware. Ice Gold creates the kind of kitchen that feels like genuine inherited luxury.
How does Ice Gold compare to Ice Max Gold?
Both feature gold-toned veining on white, but at different intensities. Ice Gold offers moderate veining with a balanced, elegant distribution of golden tones. Ice Max Gold amplifies the gold veining to maximum drama — bolder, more concentrated, and more theatrical. Choose Ice Gold for refined luxury, Ice Max Gold for an uncompromising statement.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
