The Stone

See the natural beauty of Luna up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

A gentle cream-beige quartz with delicate speckled texture and the faintest grey veining — understated warmth that brings soft, natural character to every surface.

Luna is the quiet achiever of the Compac Classic range — a warm cream-beige surface with the gentlest of details. Very subtle grey veining fragments scatter sparsely and delicately across the surface while small white quartz particles create a fine speckled texture that gives the slab authentic, stone-like character. This is not a bold or dramatic surface; it is calm, warm, and understated, designed for kitchens where comfort and neutrality are the priorities. The cream-beige tone is universally flattering, pairing naturally with warm timber, painted Shaker cabinetry, antique brass hardware, and terracotta tiles. Luna creates a sense of timeless warmth that never dates and never tires. Manufactured by COMPAC in Spain from 93-95% natural quartz crystals, the surface is completely non-porous and requires zero sealing. NSF and Greenguard certified for safety and hygiene. The 25-year residential warranty provides lasting confidence. An ideal choice for country kitchens, family bathrooms, and cottage-style interiors.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Luna

What colour is Compac Luna?
Luna is a soft, uniform light grey with a gentle, fine-particle texture that gives it a warm, dove-like quality. There is no veining — just a consistent, calm grey with subtle tonal depth from the fine particles embedded in the surface. It sits between white and medium grey, with a warm, approachable character.
How does Luna compare to Ceniza?
Both are solid grey surfaces without veining, but they sit at different points on the grey scale. Luna is lighter — a soft dove grey with warm undertones. Ceniza is darker — a solid medium grey with a cooler, more contemporary character. Luna feels gentler and more approachable; Ceniza feels more assertive and modern.
Is Luna a practical colour for a busy kitchen?
Extremely practical. Light grey is one of the most forgiving colours for daily kitchen life. Water marks, crumbs, and minor scuffs are far less visible than on white or dark surfaces. The fine particle texture adds an extra layer of visual camouflage. Combined with quartz stain resistance, Luna is supremely liveable.
What kitchen styles suit Luna?
Luna's warm light grey is remarkably versatile. It works beautifully in Scandinavian-inspired kitchens with pale timber and white walls. It pairs well with traditional painted cabinetry in cream or soft sage. Modern handleless kitchens in white or grey achieve an effortless, sophisticated tone with Luna. Its neutrality makes it a genuine all-rounder.
Can Luna be used for a continuous worktop and splashback?
Yes, and the result is particularly effective. A continuous Luna surface from worktop to splashback creates a calm, unified backdrop that makes the kitchen feel composed and cohesive. The consistent light grey colour eliminates visual breaks and gives the space a clean, purposeful aesthetic.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
