The Stone

See the natural beauty of Nebulous Gold up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

A warm white quartz with evenly scattered gold, taupe, and grey veining — classic marble character with a naturally balanced, organic warmth throughout.

Nebulous Gold brings a warm, natural marble character to the Compac range through its evenly distributed veining in gold, taupe, and grey tones. Unlike the directional sweep of the Ice collection, Nebulous Gold scatters its veining clusters organically across the white base, creating a surface that reads as naturally balanced from every viewing angle — no dramatic focal points, just consistent, warm beauty. The gold and amber tones dominate the veining character, while grey provides structural contrast and depth. The moderate veining density occupies a comfortable middle ground — more visual interest than the plain Classic surfaces but without the intensity of the Ice Max collection. Part of the COMPAC Nebulous collection, this surface is manufactured in Spain from 93-95% natural quartz crystals with BIO-resins. Completely non-porous and maintenance-free, with NSF and Greenguard certifications. The 25-year residential warranty provides lasting confidence. An excellent choice for traditional and transitional kitchen designs where warmth and natural beauty are valued above drama.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Nebulous Gold

What does Compac Nebulous Gold look like?
Nebulous Gold features a white base with soft, cloud-like formations of warm gold and grey that drift across the surface. Unlike sharp veining, the pattern has a hazy, atmospheric quality — like golden clouds or nebulae — creating a surface that feels ethereal, warm, and genuinely unique in the engineered quartz market.
Is Nebulous Gold a veined surface?
Not in the traditional sense. Rather than defined veining lines, Nebulous Gold creates its pattern through soft, diffused clouds of colour that blend gradually into the white base. The effect is atmospheric and dreamy — more like watercolour washes than the sharp marble veining found in the Ice or Unique collections.
What kitchen styles suit Nebulous Gold?
Nebulous Gold works beautifully in luxury contemporary kitchens where its unique atmospheric character becomes a talking point. It pairs well with warm, neutral colour schemes — cream cabinetry, honey-toned timber, brushed brass fixtures. The soft, cloud-like pattern also complements modern minimalist spaces where a single distinctive surface provides all the visual interest.
How does Nebulous Gold compare to Ice Gold?
These surfaces take completely different approaches to incorporating gold tones. Ice Gold features defined, flowing veining with clear gold and grey lines. Nebulous Gold creates soft, hazy golden clouds that lack sharp edges. Ice Gold is structured and marble-like; Nebulous Gold is atmospheric and painterly.
Is Nebulous Gold suitable for a statement kitchen island?
It is a beautiful island surface. The soft, atmospheric pattern creates a sense of gentle movement across large surfaces without the visual intensity of bold veining. Each section of the slab offers a subtly different cloud-like formation, making a large island genuinely interesting from every angle.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
