The Stone

See the natural beauty of Snow up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Colour:

White

A bright, warm off-white quartz with the subtlest micro-speckled texture — fresh, luminous, and perfectly balanced between pure white and natural warmth.

Snow delivers bright, warm white with just enough micro-texture to feel like real stone rather than painted surface. Its very light off-white base carries extremely fine speckled particles scattered uniformly across the entire slab, creating a subtle granular quality that is only noticeable at close range. There is no veining whatsoever — this is a solid-colour surface with a gentle, barely perceptible texture that prevents it from reading as flat or synthetic. Snow is slightly warmer and brighter than Moon, making it the ideal choice for kitchens where a clean white surface is needed but the clinical starkness of Glaciar feels too cold. The warm tone pairs beautifully with natural timber, cream-painted cabinetry, and warm metallics. Manufactured by COMPAC in Spain from 93-95% natural quartz crystals. Completely non-porous, never requires sealing, and naturally resistant to bacterial accumulation. NSF and Greenguard certified. The 25-year residential warranty provides lasting peace of mind. An excellent all-round white surface for family kitchens, bathrooms, and utility spaces.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Snow

What colour is Compac Snow?
Snow is a bright, warm off-white with the subtlest micro-speckled texture — extremely fine particles scattered uniformly across the entire surface that are barely noticeable at arm's length. There is no veining whatsoever. Snow sits between pure white and warm cream, with a luminous, fresh quality.
How does Snow differ from Glaciar and Absolute Blanc?
All three are white surfaces but with different characters. Absolute Blanc is the purest, flattest white with zero texture. Glaciar has a very faint crystalline micro-texture with a cool undertone. Snow is warmer and brighter than both, with a gentle micro-speckled quality that feels natural. Choose based on whether you want cool, neutral, or warm white.
Is Snow a forgiving surface for family kitchens?
Very forgiving. The micro-speckled texture helps conceal minor marks, crumbs, and water spots that can be visible on perfectly uniform white surfaces. Combined with the non-porous, stain-resistant quartz composition, Snow is an excellent balance of bright white aesthetics and everyday practicality.
What kitchen colour scheme suits Snow?
Snow's warm white pairs beautifully with natural timber cabinetry in oak or walnut, cream-painted Shaker units, and warm metallic fixtures in brass or copper. It also works well in fully white kitchens where its subtle warmth prevents the space from feeling sterile. For contrast, navy or charcoal cabinets create a fresh, modern two-tone scheme.
Can Snow be used for utility room worktops?
Absolutely. Snow combines bright, light-reflective aesthetics with the practical durability required in utility and boot room environments. The stain-resistant surface handles cleaning products, muddy gardening tools, and laundry spills without concern. The warm white tone adds a welcoming quality to what can otherwise be a purely functional space.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
