The Stone

See the natural beauty of ADD Top Crystal Red up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Colour:

Red Brown Dark Red

Style:

Plain Solid Polished

Deep rich terracotta red quartz with fine granular texture and subtle reflective speckling from the ADD collection.

Quartzforms ADD Top Crystal Red is part of the ADD collection — and it is one of the most distinctive surfaces in the entire Quartzforms catalogue. The surface presents a dominant deep rich terracotta red with no distinct veining or large-scale patterns. A very fine dense granular texture of subtly varied red tones creates a consistent background. Tiny sparse specks of lighter reflective material and some darker flecks are visible on close inspection. The subtle polished or semi-polished sheen completes the character — a plain solid-coloured surface with understated consistent granular quality.

Crystal Red is genuinely rare in the quartz worktop market — red surfaces are almost non-existent among the whites, greys, and marble-effects that dominate. The deep terracotta red is warm, earthy, and rich — closer to Tuscan terracotta or red oxide than bright primary red. The subtly varied red tones in the granular texture create depth within the red, preventing it from reading as a flat manufactured colour. The lighter reflective specks add a subtle crystal-like quality that justifies the Crystal name.

In2Stone recommends Crystal Red for clients making a bold design statement. The terracotta red creates Mediterranean, rustic, and eclectic kitchen atmospheres with striking warmth. White or cream cabinetry provides essential contrast; dark timber adds rich warmth. Hardware in brushed brass or antique bronze creates natural harmony with the earthy red palette.

Frequently Asked

Questions About ADD Top Crystal Red

Is this a bright red?
No — deep rich terracotta red, closer to Tuscan clay or red oxide than primary red. The tone is earthy and warm rather than vivid or alarming. Under kitchen lighting, it reads as a sophisticated warm red with natural material quality.
Why are red worktops rare?
The quartz worktop market is dominated by whites, greys, and marble-effects. Red surfaces are produced by very few manufacturers. Crystal Red offers genuine uniqueness — a bold colour choice that sets a kitchen apart from the overwhelming majority of grey and white installations.
What are the reflective specks?
Tiny sparse lighter reflective particles embedded in the terracotta base — they catch light subtly, adding a crystal-like sparkle. The effect is very restrained, adding refinement rather than glitter.
What kitchen styles suit red?
Mediterranean, Tuscan, rustic, eclectic, and bold contemporary designs all embrace warm red tones. Red creates kitchens with warmth, energy, and personality. It pairs with warm metallics, natural timber, and earth-toned accessories.
Can Crystal Red be used as a feature surface?
Yes — as a kitchen island or breakfast bar, Crystal Red creates a powerful focal point against simpler perimeter worktops. Pair with a neutral surface like Absolute White or QF White on surrounding worktops for balanced impact.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
