About Quartzforms Quartz

Quartzforms is an Italian-engineered quartz surface brand manufactured through the exclusive Bretonstone® vibro-compaction vacuum process — the same pioneering technology that launched the engineered stone industry over four decades ago. Produced across facilities in Tombolo, Italy and Magdeburg, Germany, every Quartzforms slab combines approximately 94% natural quartz with advanced polyester resin binders to create surfaces of exceptional hardness, stain resistance, and visual beauty. What sets Quartzforms apart is the sheer breadth and creativity of their collection range. From the dramatic oceanic depths of the Ocean collection to the Renaissance-inspired terrazzo patterns of Gritti and Casanova, from the raw volcanic textures of the Lavic and Spacco ranges to the crystalline sparkle of Twinkle — Quartzforms offers a design vocabulary that few other quartz manufacturers can match. Their Ecotone line pushes the sustainability boundary further than any competitor, using 100% reclaimed quarry waste aggregates and bio-based resin to create genuinely beautiful surfaces with a fraction of the environmental impact. Backed by a 25-year warranty, CE and ISO 9001 certification, and available in 20mm and 30mm worktop thicknesses, Quartzforms delivers the premium quality and Italian design flair that In2stone's craftsmen bring to life in kitchens, bathrooms, and commercial spaces across Portsmouth, Hampshire, Sussex, Surrey, Dorset and Berkshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Quartzforms Quartz

Where is Quartzforms quartz manufactured?
Quartzforms is manufactured across two European facilities — the main production facility is in Tombolo, near Padua in northern Italy, with additional manufacturing in Magdeburg, Germany. The company is part of the Marmo Arredo Group and uses the exclusive Bretonstone® vibro-compaction vacuum process, which was the original patented technology that launched the entire engineered quartz industry over four decades ago. This heritage means Quartzforms has access to the most refined and proven quartz manufacturing process in the world.
What makes the Quartzforms Ecotone range different from standard quartz?
The Ecotone range represents Quartzforms' commitment to sustainability and is genuinely innovative in the quartz industry. The Ecotone Madreterra sub-collection is made from 100% reclaimed quarry waste aggregates — no virgin quartz is added at all. The Ecotone New Era sub-collection uses recycled materials combined with bio-based resin rather than conventional petroleum-based polyester resin, and features low crystalline silica content. Both achieve this environmental progress without sacrificing the visual quality or technical performance that engineered quartz is known for — they carry the same 25-year warranty as the standard range.
How many collections does Quartzforms offer and what styles are available?
Quartzforms offers an exceptionally broad range — 21 distinct collections spanning over 100 individual colours and finishes. The range covers virtually every aesthetic preference: marble-effect veined surfaces in the Veined and Planet collections, terrazzo-inspired patterns in the Terrazzo collection, plain solid colours in the Absolute and QF ranges, textured volcanic finishes in Lavic and Spacco, sparkling mirror-particle surfaces in Twinkle, oceanic-inspired designs in Ocean, and nature-inspired tones in the Forest collection. This breadth means Quartzforms can suit everything from ultra-minimalist kitchens to richly decorative interiors.
What finishes are available on Quartzforms slabs?
Quartzforms slabs are available in four distinct finishes. Polished delivers a high-gloss, mirror-like surface that maximises light reflection and colour depth — this is the most popular choice for kitchen worktops. Brushed provides a softer, satin-like surface with a subtle texture that reduces glare and fingerprint visibility. Spacco is a dramatic split-stone finish that exposes the raw internal structure of the quartz for an authentically geological look, typically used for feature surfaces and cladding. Leather offers a soft, tactile matte finish with a gentle surface grain. Not all finishes are available across every colour, so it is worth checking availability with us.
What thickness options are available for Quartzforms worktops?
Quartzforms slabs come in three thickness options. The standard 20mm thickness is the most commonly chosen for kitchen worktops and bathroom vanity tops, offering a good balance of visual substance and weight. The 30mm thickness creates a more substantial, premium appearance and is often chosen for kitchen islands and statement surfaces where visual weight is important. The 12mm slim profile is ideal for wall cladding, splashbacks, and vertical applications where weight needs to be minimised, or for projects where the slab is bonded to a substrate. Our fabrication team can also create the appearance of a thicker edge by mitring and bonding, regardless of which slab thickness you choose.
Does Quartzforms quartz need sealing or special maintenance?
No. Because Quartzforms slabs are engineered from natural quartz bound with polyester resin under the Bretonstone® vacuum process, the resulting surface is virtually non-porous. This means liquids like red wine, coffee, olive oil, and lemon juice sit on the surface rather than penetrating it, so there is no need for any sealing, waxing, or specialty treatments — ever. Day-to-day cleaning requires nothing more than warm water and a mild detergent. Simply wipe the surface down after use. The only precaution is to avoid abrasive scouring pads and highly alkaline cleaners, and to use trivets for very hot cookware as a matter of good practice.
What warranty does Quartzforms provide?
Quartzforms provides a 25-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects on all their quartz slabs. This warranty covers issues such as defects in the material itself — it does not cover damage resulting from improper fabrication, installation on unstable substrates, misuse, excessive direct heat, or accidents. Importantly, the warranty is transferable to a new homeowner provided there is proof of the original purchase and the new owner registers the transfer. This makes Quartzforms a sound long-term investment that adds demonstrable value to a property even if you move home.
Can Quartzforms quartz be used outdoors or in direct sunlight?
Quartzforms quartz is primarily designed and warranted for interior applications. While it is exceptionally durable, the polyester resin binders used in all engineered quartz (not just Quartzforms) are susceptible to UV degradation over prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. This can cause yellowing or discolouration, particularly in lighter colours. For outdoor kitchens, BBQ areas, or surfaces exposed to sustained direct sunlight, we would recommend sintered stone alternatives such as Dekton or porcelain, which use no resin and are completely UV stable. Quartzforms excels in kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms, bars, and commercial interiors where it is protected from constant UV exposure.
