The Stone

See the natural beauty of Twinkle Grey up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Style:

Terrazzo Sparkle Polished

Mid-grey quartz with dense aggregate chips and bright reflective sparkle creating busy terrazzo-like texture from the Twinkle collection.

Quartzforms Twinkle Grey is part of the Twinkle collection — the most visually complex surface in this sparkle-enhanced range. The surface presents a consistent mid-grey base densely populated with a granulated pattern of randomly distributed aggregate chips. The chips vary in size and colour — predominantly darker shades of grey from charcoal to subtle black, intermixed with lighter grey fragments. Numerous very small bright white reflective flecks are scattered throughout, creating subtle sparkle. There is no veining or directional movement. The character is a refined busy terrazzo-like effect — uniform yet dynamic.

Twinkle Grey takes the terrazzo concept further than any other Quartzforms surface by adding genuine sparkle to the aggregate pattern. The darker charcoal and black chips provide depth, the lighter grey fragments provide contrast, and the bright reflective white flecks provide luminous highlight — three layers of visual activity in a single surface. The result is a surface that is always visually interesting, with the sparkle adding a premium quality that standard terrazzo lacks.

In2Stone recommends Twinkle Grey for clients who want maximum visual engagement from a grey surface. The busy aggregate pattern with sparkle creates kitchen atmospheres that feel rich and refined. White or light cabinetry provides brightness against the mid-grey; dark cabinetry creates dramatic depth. Chrome hardware echoes the bright reflective flecks.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Twinkle Grey

How does Twinkle Grey compare to Twinkle White?
Both have dense speckling with reflective sparkle. Twinkle White has a light grey base with fine speckling — subtle and bright. Twinkle Grey has a mid-grey base with larger aggregate chips — busier and more terrazzo-like. Twinkle Grey is the more visually complex option.
What are the aggregate chips?
Randomly distributed fragments in varying sizes of darker grey, charcoal, black, and lighter grey create a genuine terrazzo-like pattern. These chips provide more visual weight than fine speckling, creating a busier, more engaging surface texture.
Is the sparkle effect permanent?
Yes — the bright reflective white flecks are embedded within the quartz matrix. They will maintain their sparkle for the lifetime of the surface. No fading, no dulling, no special maintenance required.
Is Twinkle Grey too busy for a full kitchen?
The busy pattern actually works well across large installations because it is uniformly distributed — there is no single focal point that creates tension. The consistent all-over pattern reads as textural richness rather than visual chaos. It suits medium to large kitchens particularly well.
How practical is the busy terrazzo pattern?
Extremely practical — the combination of aggregate chips and reflective sparkle creates one of the most mark-hiding surfaces in the range. Crumbs, water spots, and fingerprints are effectively invisible among the complex pattern. Ideal for family kitchens.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
