The Stone

See the natural beauty of Pebble Black up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Deep black quartz with dense warm-toned granular speckling creating cohesive aggregate character from the Pebble collection.

Quartzforms Pebble Black completes the Pebble collection — and indeed completes the entire Quartzforms catalogue — with the darkest surface in this aggregate-focused range. The surface presents a dominant deep black base densely patterned with randomly distributed fine to very fine granular specks. The particles are primarily off-white and light grey interspersed with warmer tones of beige and subtle light brown. There is no veining or directional movement — just uniform speckled texture across the entire slab. The smooth finish has no distinct high-gloss or deep textural elements. The character is robust and aggregate-like — busy yet cohesive.

Pebble Black distinguishes itself from other dark speckled surfaces through its warm particle tones. Where Night Black has pure bright white speckles and QF Black has reflective silvery sparkle, Pebble Black's speckling includes warm beige and light brown alongside the greys and whites. This gives the surface a warmer, more organic quality — natural stone rather than engineered sparkle. The dense coverage creates a busy but unified pattern where the warm and cool particles integrate seamlessly against the deep black base.

In2Stone recommends Pebble Black for clients who want a dark surface with natural aggregate character and warm particle tones. The warmth makes it more inviting than pure cool-toned dark alternatives. Cream cabinetry brings out the warm particle colours; white provides clean contrast. Hardware in brushed bronze or matt black both work well.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Pebble Black

How does Pebble Black compare to Night Black?
Night Black (Extreme) has sparse bright white speckles with polished finish — starfield sparkle. Pebble Black (Pebble) has dense warm-toned speckling with matte finish — aggregate character. Night Black is cooler and sparkly; Pebble Black is warmer and textured.
What makes the speckling warm-toned?
Beige and subtle light brown particles are interspersed with the off-white and light grey speckling. These warm tones give Pebble Black an organic, natural stone quality rather than the cool engineered sparkle of alternatives like QF Black.
Is the dense speckling practical?
Very practical — the dense multicoloured speckling on a dark base is highly effective at concealing fingerprints, water spots, crumbs, and everyday marks. Pebble Black is one of the most maintenance-friendly dark surfaces in the catalogue.
Does Pebble Black complete the Pebble collection?
Yes — Pebble Cappuccino (light warm), Pebble Brown (deep warm), Pebble Light Grey (mid neutral), Pebble Dark Grey (dark warm), and Pebble Black (deepest) together provide aggregate character across the complete tonal spectrum.
What natural stone does Pebble Black resemble?
The warm-toned aggregate on a deep black base resembles natural dark granite or basalt with visible mineral composition. The warm beige and brown particles mimic the feldspar and biotite inclusions found in genuine volcanic rock.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
