The Stone

See the natural beauty of Navajo up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Colour:

White Beige Brown

Style:

Terrazzo Speckled Polished

Bright white quartz with dense warm-toned particulate speckling creating a busy terrazzo-like texture from the Lavic collection.

Quartzforms Navajo opens the Lavic collection — and its character is distinctly terrazzo-like despite belonging to a different collection. The surface presents a bright white base uniformly embedded with a dense array of fine to medium-sized irregularly shaped particles. These particles present a varied palette — warm off-white, light beige, subtle warm grey, and occasional specks of light brown and darker brown. The smooth possibly polished finish has no discernible veining or directional movement, instead displaying a granular speckled texture across the entire surface. The character is subtle yet busy with a terrazzo-like quality offering rich textural detail.

Navajo distinguishes itself from the formal Terrazzo collection through its particle scale and colour palette. Where Gritti and Fenice have larger visible aggregate chips in bold contrasting colours, Navajo's particles are finer and its colour palette is narrower — confined to warm neutrals from off-white through beige to brown. This creates a more understated terrazzo effect that reads as natural stone rather than decorative aggregate. The warm neutral palette evokes the sun-baked landscapes and sandstone formations referenced in the Navajo name.

In2Stone recommends Navajo for clients who want terrazzo-like textural interest in a warm, understated colour palette. The busy speckling is exceptionally practical — it camouflages every kind of kitchen mark. Cream, warm white, and timber cabinetry complement the warm neutrals. Hardware in brushed brass or antique bronze echoes the warm brown accents within the speckled pattern.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Navajo

What is the Lavic collection?
The Lavic collection is a Quartzforms range featuring surfaces with particulate and textural qualities. The name suggests volcanic or geological inspiration. Navajo represents a warm-toned speckled design with terrazzo-like character.
How does Navajo compare to the Terrazzo collection?
The Terrazzo collection (Gritti, Fenice, etc.) has larger visible aggregate chips in bold contrasting colours — structured and decorative. Navajo has finer particles in a narrower warm neutral palette — more understated and natural. Navajo is the subtle alternative to formal terrazzo.
Is the speckling practical?
Extremely practical — the dense busy particulate pattern is one of the most effective designs for concealing crumbs, water spots, fingerprints, and everyday marks. The all-over texture means there are no clean plain areas where marks would be visible.
What warm tones are in the particles?
The varied palette includes warm off-white, light beige, subtle warm grey, and occasional specks of light brown and darker brown. The overall impression is warm neutral — sandstone-like. No cool tones are present, giving Navajo a consistently warm character.
Why is it called Navajo?
The name evokes the warm earth tones and sandstone landscapes of the American Southwest — the Navajo Nation spans areas of Arizona, Utah, and New Mexico. The surface's warm neutral palette of whites, beiges, and browns captures these desert-earth colour relationships.

"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
