The Stone

See the natural beauty of Imperial Gold up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Light warm off-white quartz with golden-beige organic veining creating an understated warm marble-effect from the Imperial collection.

Quartzforms Imperial Gold is part of the Imperial collection — offering golden warmth in an understated format. The surface presents a very light warm off-white base with moderate-density random organic veining flowing in various directions. The vein colours range from warm golden-beige to light tan, appearing as both fine thread-like lines and slightly broader diffused areas. The smooth polished or honed finish has no visible speckling or granular texture. The character is an understated marble-effect with golden warmth.

Imperial Gold is the gentlest surface in the Imperial collection — where other Imperial designs deploy metallic shimmer and bold contrast, Gold lets its golden-beige veining create warmth through tone rather than drama. The veining reads as sunlit — warm, golden, and gently luminous without overt sparkle. The warm off-white base enhances this sunny quality, creating a surface that feels bathed in warm light. The moderate vein density provides clear movement without busyness, and the organic flow creates an authentically natural stone quality.

In2Stone recommends Imperial Gold for clients who want warmth and elegance without drama. The golden-beige palette creates kitchen atmospheres of gentle luxury — warm, inviting, and timeless. Cream and warm white cabinetry creates a seamless warm scheme; light timber adds natural warmth. Hardware in brushed brass creates perfect golden harmony; brushed nickel provides subtle cool contrast.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Imperial Gold

How golden is the veining?
Warm golden-beige to light tan — the tone reads as sunlit and honeyed rather than metallic or vivid gold. The golden quality comes from the warm brown-beige tones rather than actual metallic shimmer. It creates a sense of warmth and gentle luminosity.
Does Imperial Gold have metallic shimmer?
No — unlike Imperial Caramel and Imperial Cherry Beige, Gold relies on warm golden-beige colour rather than metallic sparkle. It is the most subtle and understated surface in the Imperial collection, offering golden warmth through tone alone.
How does Imperial Gold compare to Honey Galaxy?
Both feature warm veining on white bases. Honey Galaxy (Planet) has dual-tone veining combining warm rust WITH charcoal grey — more complex. Imperial Gold has pure golden-beige veining — simpler and warmer. Honey Galaxy bridges warm and cool; Imperial Gold commits fully to warmth.
Is golden-beige veining timeless?
Warm golden tones have been used in interior design for centuries — from Renaissance frescoes to Regency drawing rooms. The golden-beige quality creates an atmosphere of established elegance rather than trend-driven fashion. It ages gracefully in both physical and aesthetic terms.
What kitchen styles suit Imperial Gold?
Traditional, transitional, Mediterranean, and warm contemporary kitchens all complement Imperial Gold's gentle luxury. It works with painted timber cabinetry, Belfast sinks, and warm metallic fixtures. The golden warmth creates kitchens that feel welcoming and established.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
