The Stone

See the natural beauty of Atlantis up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Colour:

Grey White Green

Muted sage-grey quartz with crisp white branching veining and a honed finish from the Ecotone New Era collection.

Quartzforms Atlantis is part of the Ecotone New Era sustainable collection — made with recycled materials, bio-based resin, and reduced crystalline silica. The surface presents a very light muted sage-grey base with a subtle fine granular texture throughout. Sparse crisp white veining ranges from fine to medium thickness with a delicate branching fractured appearance and random diagonal movement. The matte or honed finish creates a low-sheen surface with contemporary tactile quality. The overall character is an understated marble-effect with a distinctive cool, watery grey-green tone.

Atlantis finds its personality in colour rather than pattern — the sage-grey base has a subtle green undertone that sets it apart from conventional grey quartz surfaces. This watery, slightly botanical quality feels connected to the natural world in a way that pure greys do not, and the crisp white veining provides clean contrast that keeps the surface feeling fresh. The sparse vein distribution means the sage-grey base dominates, making the colour the defining feature rather than the pattern. The matte finish enhances the natural, organic quality.

In2Stone recommends Atlantis for clients who want a worktop with genuine colour personality that remains versatile. The sage-grey palette works beautifully with white, pale grey, and olive-toned cabinetry, and complements hardware in brushed nickel, matt black, or antique brass. It is particularly effective in kitchens with plant life and natural materials, where the green undertone creates a cohesive connection to the wider design scheme.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Atlantis

Is Atlantis green or grey?
Both — the base is a muted sage-grey with a subtle green undertone. It reads as a cool, watery grey with a botanical hint rather than a vivid green. The green becomes more apparent next to pure grey surfaces, and the effect is refreshing and natural rather than bold.
What creates the branching vein pattern?
The veining has a delicate fractured appearance — crisp white lines that branch and split in random diagonal directions. This creates an organic, natural-looking pattern that mimics the fracture networks found in real stone. The sparse distribution means the veins accent the surface rather than dominating it.
Does Atlantis suit biophilic kitchen design?
Excellent choice — the sage-grey green undertone connects naturally with plant life, timber, and natural materials. Biophilic design principles emphasise bringing nature into interior spaces, and Atlantis supports this through its colour palette without requiring bold or dramatic stone patterns.
What finish does Atlantis have?
Matte or honed — a low-sheen surface with contemporary tactile quality. The matte finish shows fewer fingerprints and water spots than polished surfaces and gives Atlantis a natural, grounded character. It is practical for busy kitchens and complements the understated design.
How does Atlantis compare to Isola?
Both have matte finishes with diagonal veining, but the colours differ significantly. Isola (Madreterra) has a warm taupe base with cream veining — earthy and warm. Atlantis (New Era) has a cool sage-grey base with white veining — fresh and botanical. Choose based on whether your kitchen leans warm or cool.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
