The Stone

See the natural beauty of Flamingo up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Soft salmon pink quartz with delicate off-white veining and a matte finish from the sustainable Ecotone New Era collection.

Quartzforms Flamingo is part of the Ecotone New Era sustainable collection — and it is one of the most distinctive colours in the entire Quartzforms range. The surface presents a soft muted salmon pink base with a very fine granular texture and a honed or matte finish. Sparse to moderately distributed veining in light off-white or very pale cream crisscrosses the slab with random branching diagonal movement. The veins are predominantly fine and thread-like with some broader areas where they converge. The overall character is a subtle understated marble-effect with gentle movement against the warm soft pink background.

Flamingo commits to colour in a way that few quartz surfaces dare. The salmon pink base is soft and muted rather than bold or bright — it reads as a warm blush rather than a vivid pink. This places it in the territory of rose-toned natural stones and terracotta, connecting to a long European tradition of warm-toned architectural materials. The off-white veining provides gentle contrast that softens the colour further, preventing it from feeling like a solid block of pink. The matte finish is essential to the character — it gives the surface a natural, tactile quality that a polished finish would undermine.

In2Stone recommends Flamingo for clients who want genuine personality in their kitchen. It creates warm, inviting atmospheres and pairs beautifully with white, cream, and sage-green cabinetry. Hardware in brushed brass, antique gold, or rose gold complements the warm tones. Flamingo is a confident choice that will make your kitchen memorable.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Flamingo

How pink is Flamingo?
Soft and muted — a warm salmon pink that reads as a blush rather than a vivid or bright pink. It feels closer to rose-toned natural stone or terracotta than to bubblegum pink. Under most kitchen lighting, it creates a warm, inviting glow rather than a bold colour statement.
Is pink a practical worktop colour?
Yes — the soft pink is a warm neutral that conceals everyday marks well. The non-porous quartz surface provides all the same stain resistance, scratch resistance, and durability as any other Quartzforms colour. The matte finish shows fewer fingerprints and water spots than polished surfaces.
What kitchen colours work with pink worktops?
White and cream cabinetry create a fresh, light scheme. Sage green provides a beautiful complementary colour contrast. Dark timber and charcoal add sophistication. Brushed brass or rose gold hardware echoes the warm tones. Avoid very cool greys or blues that might clash with the warm pink.
Will a pink worktop date quickly?
Warm, earthy pink tones have been used in architecture for centuries — terracotta, rose marble, and pink stone have enduring appeal. Flamingo's muted, natural quality connects to this tradition rather than to fashion-driven trends. Its subtle warmth is timeless rather than trendy.
How does Flamingo compare to Luce?
Both have warm pink-toned bases, but they come from different Ecotone collections. Luce (Madreterra) is a pale rose-beige — the pink is very subtle. Flamingo (New Era) commits more fully to a salmon pink tone. Flamingo is the bolder colour choice; Luce is the more understated one.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
