Quartzforms Lavic Black is part of the Lavic collection — and its character connects directly to the volcanic rock that inspires the collection's name. The surface presents a deep uniform near-black base with moderate-density fine granular speckling. Individual flecks of irregular shape are scattered randomly across the entire slab in varied colours — light grey, subtle warm brown, and darker charcoal tones — adding nuanced depth to the dark background. The smooth polished or honed finish has slight reflectivity. The character is subtle and understated — a natural stone with consistent granular texture.

Lavic Black captures the authentic character of volcanic basalt — the fine multicoloured speckling mimics the mineral composition visible in real volcanic rock.
