The Stone

See the natural beauty of Pebble Dark Grey up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Colour:

Dark Grey White Brown

Deep charcoal grey quartz with dense colourful aggregate including warm ochre and orange-brown accents from the Pebble collection.

Quartzforms Pebble Dark Grey is part of the Pebble collection — and it has the most colourful aggregate composition in the entire range. The surface presents a deep charcoal grey base with subtle warm undertones. Dense uniformly distributed speckled texture comprises numerous small to medium granular inclusions — crisp white, off-white, light grey, and black alongside prominent flecks of warm beige, light orange-brown, and faint yellow-ochre. The matte or honed finish has a smooth non-reflective surface. The character is aggregate-rich terrazzo with subtle textured quality.

Pebble Dark Grey stands out for its colour diversity — the warm beige, orange-brown, and yellow-ochre particles are unique in the Quartzforms catalogue. No other surface combines these warm earth-tone accents with a dark grey foundation. The effect is of a natural aggregate concrete where different mineral components create a rich geological palette — think volcanic basalt with embedded mineral fragments in warm amber and ochre. The warm undertones in the charcoal base harmonise with these warm particles, creating a dark surface with genuine visual warmth.

In2Stone recommends Pebble Dark Grey for clients who want a dark surface with unexpected colour richness. The warm aggregate accents make it warmer and more characterful than pure grey or black alternatives. Cream cabinetry enhances the warm particle tones; white provides brightness. Hardware in brushed bronze or antique copper echoes the warm ochre and orange-brown accents.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Pebble Dark Grey

What makes the aggregate so colourful?
The particle palette includes crisp white, off-white, light grey, black, warm beige, light orange-brown, and faint yellow-ochre — the widest colour range in the Pebble collection. The warm earth-tone accents are unique in the Quartzforms catalogue.
How does Pebble Dark Grey compare to Pebble Light Grey?
Both have dense multicoloured aggregate. Pebble Light Grey has a warm mid-grey base with six particle colours. Pebble Dark Grey has a deep charcoal base with warmer particle accents including orange-brown and ochre. Dark Grey is deeper and warmer; Light Grey is lighter and more neutral.
What are the ochre and orange-brown tones?
Warm earth-tone particles scattered among the grey and white aggregate — faint yellow-ochre and light orange-brown create natural warmth within the dark surface. These warm accents evoke geological mineral inclusions and give the surface genuine character.
Is the matte finish practical on dark surfaces?
Very practical — matte finishes hide fingerprints and water spots far more effectively than polished surfaces. Combined with the dense multicoloured aggregate, Pebble Dark Grey is one of the most maintenance-friendly dark surfaces in the range.
What design styles suit this surface?
Industrial, Mediterranean, earthy contemporary, and warm modern kitchens all benefit from Pebble Dark Grey's dark warmth with colourful aggregate. The earth-tone accents connect to natural materials and organic design philosophies.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
