The Stone

See the natural beauty of Mystic up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Light warm beige-grey quartz with subtle understated veining and a honed finish from the Ecotone New Era collection.

Quartzforms Mystic is part of the Ecotone New Era sustainable collection — featuring recycled materials, bio-based resin, and reduced crystalline silica. The surface presents a uniform light warm beige-grey base with a matte or honed finish. Subtle veining in off-white and desaturated warm grey is distributed sparsely to moderately across the slab, with one more prominent vein tracing a diagonal path. The veining ranges from fine to medium-fine, contributing a gentle understated movement. A very fine granular texture is visible throughout the background, adding tactile interest.

Mystic sits at the quiet end of the design spectrum — a surface that works through subtlety rather than statement. The light warm beige-grey base is remarkably neutral, sitting precisely at the intersection where beige meets grey, making it one of the most adaptable worktop colours available. The understated veining adds just enough natural character to distinguish it from plain surfaces, while the matte finish gives it a contemporary, grounded quality. As an Ecotone New Era product, it carries the full suite of sustainability credentials including bio-based resin and reduced crystalline silica.

In2Stone recommends Mystic for clients who want a versatile, understated worktop that quietly supports any kitchen design without constraining it. The neutral beige-grey palette works with virtually every cabinetry colour and hardware finish. It is an excellent choice for open-plan spaces where the kitchen worktop needs to blend seamlessly with the wider living area rather than dominating it.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Mystic

Is Mystic warm or cool toned?
Mystic sits precisely between warm and cool — a light beige-grey that does not commit to either direction. This makes it exceptionally versatile, as it works equally well with warm timber and brass hardware or with cool grey and chrome accents. Most clients find it adapts to their existing kitchen scheme.
How visible is the veining?
Very subtle — the veining is sparse and gentle, with one slightly more prominent diagonal vein and fine supporting threads. From normal viewing distance, Mystic reads as a calm, lightly textured neutral. The veining is apparent on close inspection, adding natural character without drama.
What is the reduced crystalline silica benefit?
Reduced crystalline silica content improves safety for stonemasons during cutting and fabrication, as silica dust is a known respiratory hazard. This is an important health benefit for the craftsmen who fabricate your worktops — choosing Ecotone New Era supports better working conditions.
Is Mystic suitable for an open-plan kitchen-living space?
Ideal — the neutral beige-grey palette blends seamlessly with living room and dining area furnishings. Unlike bold or dramatic worktops that demand attention, Mystic works quietly in the background, supporting the overall interior design rather than competing with it.
How does Mystic compare to Dune from the Madreterra range?
Both are warm neutral tones, but Mystic has a cooler grey undertone while Dune is warmer beige. Mystic has sparser, more subtle veining. The key difference is the collection — Mystic uses Ecotone New Era technology with bio-based resin, while Dune uses Ecotone Madreterra recycled aggregate technology.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
