The Stone

See the natural beauty of Imperial White up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Colour:

White Grey Brown

Off-white quartz with warm grey and brown-grey veining accented by charcoal markings from the Imperial collection.

Quartzforms Imperial White is part of the Imperial collection — though it is one of the more restrained surfaces in this typically opulent range. The surface presents an off-white base serving as a bright backdrop for intricate veining. Meandering randomly oriented veins cover the slab, ranging from fine thread-like lines to broader diffused areas. The vein palette includes warm grey and subtle brown-grey tones accented by occasional darker charcoal markings, moderately dense across the surface. The smooth polished finish has no speckling or granular texture. The character is a classic elegant marble-effect with moderately dramatic visual impact.

Imperial White bridges the gap between the Veined collection's subtle marble-effects and the Imperial collection's bolder expressions. The warm grey veining has a complexity that simpler designs lack — multiple grey tones from pale warm grey through to charcoal create layered depth within the vein network. The brown-grey accents add warmth without the metallic shimmer seen in other Imperial surfaces. This makes Imperial White the most broadly appealing surface in the Imperial collection — dramatic enough to justify the Imperial name, but controlled enough for comprehensive kitchen coverage.

In2Stone recommends Imperial White as a versatile marble-effect with slightly more presence than standard grey-veined alternatives. The warm-grey palette works with both warm and cool cabinetry. White and cream let the veining speak; dark grey or navy create richer contrast. Hardware in any finish complements the balanced tonal range.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Imperial White

How does Imperial White compare to Bernini?
Both are white marble-effects with grey veining. Bernini (Veined) has cool grey veining in organic formations. Imperial White has warm grey veining with brown-grey accents and charcoal markings — warmer tones and more tonal variety. Imperial White has slightly more visual complexity.
Does Imperial White have the metallic shimmer of other Imperial surfaces?
No — Imperial White is the most restrained surface in the Imperial collection, relying on warm grey veining rather than metallic shimmer for its visual impact. Clients who want Imperial's metallic quality should consider Imperial Caramel or Imperial Gold.
Is the veining warm or cool?
Warm — the grey veining has brown-grey undertones that create genuine warmth. This distinguishes Imperial White from cooler grey-veined alternatives and makes it particularly effective alongside warm materials like timber and leather.
Is Imperial White suitable for a full kitchen?
Yes — the moderately dramatic veining density works across all surfaces without becoming overwhelming. The balanced tonal range makes it suitable for worktops, splashbacks, and island surfaces. It is one of the most versatile designs in the Imperial collection.
What are the occasional charcoal markings?
Darker charcoal accents appear within the predominantly warm grey vein network, adding focal points and depth. These darker marks prevent the veining from reading as a single flat grey tone, creating moments of stronger contrast that add visual energy to the overall design.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
