The Stone

See the natural beauty of Magnolia up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Colour:

Green Black White

Deep forest green quartz with bold white diagonal veining and a polished finish from the Forest collection.

Quartzforms Magnolia is part of the Forest collection — and despite its floral name, this is one of the most dramatically dark surfaces in the Quartzforms range. The surface presents a very dark deep forest green base, almost black, with subtle warm undertones. A prominent bold vein in crisp white diagonally traverses the surface, branching into finer thread-like secondary veins of muted white or light grey. These secondary veins exhibit moderate density and random movement, with some subtle hints of a brighter green visible within the darker base. The polished finish is smooth and reflective without visible speckling or granular texture.

Magnolia's deep forest green is genuinely distinctive — most dark quartz surfaces default to black, charcoal, or dark grey. The green base creates a richness and depth that pure black cannot match, and the warm undertones prevent the surface from feeling cold or stark. The crisp white veining provides dramatic contrast, cutting through the darkness like light through a forest canopy. The subtle brighter green hints within the base add a living quality, as if the stone retains some of the verdant energy of the woodland that inspires the collection.

In2Stone recommends Magnolia for clients who want dark drama with genuine colour warmth. The forest green palette pairs naturally with timber, botanical elements, and warm metallic accents in brushed brass or copper. White or cream cabinetry creates striking contrast; dark timber creates a rich tonal scheme. This is a surface for clients who understand that the most sophisticated dark interiors have colour, not just darkness.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Magnolia

Is Magnolia actually green?
Yes — the base is a very dark forest green, almost black, with subtle warm undertones. The green is deep and rich rather than bright or vivid. Under most kitchen lighting, it reads as a very dark green-black with occasional brighter green hints visible within the base.
Why is a green surface called Magnolia?
The name connects to the Forest collection's botanical theme — magnolia trees are evergreen with deep dark leaves. The surface captures the deep, rich green of dense forest foliage rather than the pale cream of magnolia flowers. Think canopy, not petals.
How does forest green differ from black in a kitchen?
Forest green adds warmth and depth that pure black lacks. Dark green surfaces feel richer and more organic, connecting to natural materials and botanical elements. The green undertone becomes more apparent alongside truly black objects, revealing its distinctive character.
What hardware colours work with deep green?
Brushed brass and copper are the natural partners — warm metallic tones complement the warm green undertones beautifully. Matt black creates a sophisticated tonal scheme. Chrome and brushed nickel work for a cooler, more contemporary feel. The white veining provides enough contrast to anchor any hardware finish.
Is Magnolia suitable for a full kitchen?
The very dark base can feel overwhelming across every surface in a standard kitchen. It works most effectively as a feature island, bar, or single worktop run with lighter surfaces elsewhere. In large kitchens with generous natural light and white or light cabinetry, broader coverage can create a dramatic, immersive atmosphere.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
