The Stone

See the natural beauty of Parisien Bleu up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Deep slate blue-grey base with bold white crack veining and warm coppery-gold accents for dramatic impact.

Silestone Parisien Bleu is a bold, characterful surface that starts with a deep muted slate blue-grey base — a colour rarely seen in engineered stone ranges. The base carries a subtle granular texture, over which a dense network of random, crack-like veining runs in varied thicknesses. The primary veins are bright white, providing sharp contrast against the dark blue-grey, and are interspersed with finer thread-like streaks and small clusters of warm coppery-gold that add warmth and metallicism to the overall composition. The gentle sheen of the finish allows the white veining to catch light without the surface becoming overly reflective, and the copper-gold accents appear as unexpected moments of warmth within the cooler blue-grey palette. Parisien Bleu achieves something genuinely unusual: a dramatic natural stone aesthetic in a blue-grey colourway that feels both contemporary and classical. It references the veined character of dark marbles while inhabiting an entirely different colour space. Part of Silestone's Le Chic collection, manufactured in Almería, Spain with Hybriq+® technology. Minimum 20% recycled content, 100% renewable energy. Non-porous, stain-resistant, NSF certified. Supplied in jumbo 327 × 159 cm slabs with a 25-year warranty. Installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Parisien Bleu

What colour is Silestone Parisien Bleu in reality?
Parisien Bleu is a deep muted slate blue-grey — not a bright blue, but a sophisticated, moody blue-grey with genuine depth. The bold white crack veining creates high contrast, and warm coppery-gold thread accents add unexpected warmth. Under warm lighting the blue-grey reads richer; under cooler light it leans more towards slate grey. It is one of the most distinctive colours in the Silestone range.
What kitchen designs can handle Parisien Bleu?
Parisien Bleu works best as a statement surface — an island or feature run — where its dramatic colour and veining can be appreciated. White or pale grey cabinets let the worktop shine, while dark navy or charcoal cabinets create a tonal, enveloping effect. Brass hardware complements the warm coppery-gold accents beautifully. Keep splashbacks simple to avoid visual competition.
Is Parisien Bleu as durable as lighter Silestone colours?
Absolutely. All Silestone surfaces share the same Hybriq+® composition regardless of colour. Parisien Bleu has identical scratch resistance, stain resistance, and acid resistance to any white or grey Silestone surface. The deep colour has a practical benefit — it shows fewer crumbs, minor marks, and water spots than lighter alternatives.
How is the blue colour achieved in Parisien Bleu?
The blue-grey colour comes from specialised mineral pigments incorporated during the Hybriq+® manufacturing process at Cosentino's factory in Almería, Spain. The colour is integral to the composition — not a surface coating — which means it cannot fade, peel, or wear away. The copper-gold accents are similarly embedded within the material.
How do I clean Parisien Bleu without leaving marks?
Wipe with a damp microfibre cloth and mild detergent, then buff dry with a clean cloth for a streak-free finish. The deep colour can show water residue if left to air-dry, but the granular texture helps minimise this. For stubborn marks, use Q-Action cleaner. Avoid abrasive pads that could dull the gentle sheen over time.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
