The Stone

See the natural beauty of Adamello up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Colour:

Grey White Brown Rust

Light grey quartz with pale veining and warm rust-tinged patches — a subtly weathered natural marble surface.

Unistone Adamello captures the weathered beauty of Alpine stone. Its soft light grey base with cool undertones and subtle tonal variations carries moderate fine to medium-bold veining in lighter pale grey to off-white, traversing randomly with some diagonal flow. Irregular diffused patches of very light brown or pale rust add a subtle touch of warmth amid the cool grey palette. The smooth matte or honed finish has a fine subtle granular texture throughout. Named after the Adamello mountain range in the Italian Alps, the surface carries that same quality of ancient stone weathered by wind and ice — cool grey with traces of iron-rich warmth. Manufactured by Brachot with Through Tone Technology. Over 90% natural quartz, NSF certified. 15-year warranty. Available in standard and jumbo slab formats. Supplied and installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Adamello

What does Unistone Adamello look like?
Adamello has a soft light grey base with moderate pale grey to off-white veining and irregular diffused patches of very light brown or pale rust. The matte finish has a fine granular texture. It reads as a subtly weathered natural stone — cool grey with traces of warm, iron-rich colouring. Alpine and geological in character.
What does the name Adamello refer to?
Adamello is a mountain range and glacier in the Italian Alps — massive granite and metamorphic rock formations shaped by millennia of glacial activity. The surface captures that Alpine character — cool grey stone with traces of iron oxidation (the rust-tinged patches) from mineral-rich groundwater seeping through ancient rock.
Are the rust patches prominent?
The warm brown or pale rust patches are very subtle — irregular, diffused areas that add a gentle warmth rather than bold colour. They prevent the surface from being monotonically grey without creating strong visual contrast. Under warm lighting, the rust becomes slightly more apparent; under cool lighting, it blends into the grey.
How does Adamello compare to Valley White?
Both are cool-toned marble designs with subtle character, but they differ in colour accents. Valley White has grey veining with violet undertones — cooler and more atmospheric. Adamello has lighter veining with warm rust-tinged patches — cooler base with warm accents. Valley White is consistently cool; Adamello blends warm and cool.
What kitchen styles suit Adamello?
The Alpine, weathered character suits contemporary, Scandinavian, and nature-inspired kitchens. The cool grey base with warm rust accents bridges warm and cool design schemes. Natural timber adds earthy warmth. White cabinetry creates clean contrast. Both chrome and brushed bronze hardware work with the dual warm-cool palette.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
