The Stone

See the natural beauty of Arabescato Corchia up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Off-white quartz with dense intricate warm grey veining — a busy, organic arabescato marble-effect surface.

Unistone Arabescato Corchia takes its name from the famous quarries in the Apuan Alps and delivers their characteristic dense, organic marble pattern. Its off-white to very light cream base provides a bright, luminous foundation covered by a dense intricate network of random, interconnected veining. The veins are predominantly fine to medium in soft warm grey with subtle tonal variations that occasionally give them a translucent quality. The polished or semi-polished finish reflects light gently without prominent speckling or granular texture. Arabescato Corchia is busier and more complex than the Carrara designs — the dense, interconnected veining creates a surface that's constantly interesting without a single dominant vein. It's marble at its most intricate. Manufactured by Brachot with Through Tone Technology. Over 90% natural quartz, NSF certified. 15-year warranty. Available in standard and jumbo slab formats. Supplied and installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Arabescato Corchia

What does Unistone Arabescato Corchia look like?
Arabescato Corchia has an off-white to light cream base densely covered by an intricate network of random, interconnected veining in soft warm grey with subtle tonal variations. The veining is predominantly fine to medium, creating a busy, organic pattern without a single dominant vein. The gently reflective finish keeps it refined. It's an intricately complex marble surface.
What does Arabescato Corchia mean?
Arabescato refers to a style of Italian marble characterised by dense, intricate veining patterns. Corchia refers to Monte Corchia in the Apuan Alps of Tuscany — one of Italy's most famous marble quarrying regions. The name positions this design within the tradition of premium Italian marble aesthetics.
How does Arabescato Corchia compare to the Carrara designs?
The Carrara designs have moderate, composed veining — they're understated and classically refined. Arabescato Corchia has much denser, more complex interconnected veining — it's busier, more intricate, and more visually intense. Carrara whispers; Arabescato Corchia creates a busy, captivating marble tapestry.
Does the busy pattern suit small kitchens?
Dense, intricate patterns can work well in small kitchens — they create visual richness in compact spaces and are extremely practical for hiding marks. The fine-scaled veining doesn't create the overwhelming drama that bold, sweeping designs might in tight spaces. The light base keeps the kitchen feeling bright despite the busy pattern.
What is the translucent quality in the veining?
Some veins show subtle tonal variations that give them a partially translucent appearance — you sense depth within the vein rather than seeing a flat, opaque line. This translucency is most visible under natural light and adds a layered quality that enhances the natural marble character. It's one of the details that distinguishes Arabescato Corchia from simpler designs.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
