The Stone

See the natural beauty of Jura Brown up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Colour:

Brown Grey Beige

Warm brown-grey quartz with dense fine pale speckling — an earthy, understated natural stone surface.

Unistone Jura Brown takes its name from the Jura limestone of southern Germany and captures its warm, earthy character. Its warm medium brown-grey base provides a consistent earthy background without distinct veining. Instead, a very dense fine speckling of lighter almost off-white or pale beige particles is randomly distributed across the entire surface, creating subtle granular texture with a slightly mottled appearance. The matte or honed finish keeps the surface honest and unpretentious. Jura Brown is one of the warmest designs in the Unistone range — a surface for kitchens that want genuine earthiness. Manufactured by Brachot with Through Tone Technology. Over 90% natural quartz, NSF certified. 15-year warranty. Available in standard and jumbo slab formats. Supplied and installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Jura Brown

What does Unistone Jura Brown look like?
Jura Brown has a warm medium brown-grey base with very dense fine speckling of lighter off-white and pale beige particles. No distinct veining — just a slightly mottled granular texture. The matte finish is non-reflective. It reads as a warm, earthy natural stone — understated, honest, and grounded.
What does the name Jura Brown reference?
Jura Brown references Jura limestone — a warm, fossil-rich natural stone quarried in the Jura mountains of southern Germany. It's widely used in architecture for its warm, earthy tones. The quartz version captures the colour and granular quality of the natural limestone while providing superior durability and stain resistance.
What cabinetry suits Jura Brown?
The warm, earthy character pairs naturally with cream cabinetry, natural timber, warm whites, and dark walnut. Brushed bronze or antique brass hardware complements the warm brown-grey tones. For contrast, dark charcoal or black cabinetry creates a rich, layered scheme. The earthy warmth suits farmhouse, rustic, and warm contemporary kitchens.
Is the speckling practical?
Extremely practical. The dense fine speckling on the warm brown-grey base is one of the most forgiving surface patterns for daily kitchen use. Crumbs, water marks, and minor wear are virtually invisible. The warm mid-tone colour shows neither dark marks nor light-coloured debris easily. It's a genuinely worry-free surface.
Does Jura Brown come in polished finish?
Yes — while the natural character suits the matte finish shown, Jura Brown is available in both Polished and Velluto finishes. Polished adds sheen and brightness. Velluto adds Brachot's exclusive velvet matte warmth. Each finish changes how the warm brown-grey and pale speckling interact with light.

"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
