The Stone

See the natural beauty of Sahara Noir up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Colour:

Black Gold Copper

Deep black quartz with luminous coppery-gold veining — a dramatically luxurious dark marble surface.

Unistone Sahara Noir is luxury at its most theatrical. Its deep uniform black base has a highly polished finish with significant reflectivity, creating a mirror-like quality in the dark background. Sparse to moderate fine to medium-thick veining in distinctive warm coppery-gold or rose-gold traverses the slab in random intersecting diagonal directions, appearing luminous and metallic against the dark background. The smooth black surface has no speckling or granular texture — just the stark contrast of luminous metallic veining against absolute darkness. Named after Sahara Noir marble — one of the world's most prestigious dark marbles — this design captures the same dramatic elegance. Manufactured by Brachot with Through Tone Technology. Over 90% natural quartz, NSF certified. 15-year warranty. Available in standard and jumbo slab formats. Supplied and installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Sahara Noir

What does Unistone Sahara Noir look like?
Sahara Noir has a deep uniform black base with significant polished reflectivity. Sparse to moderate veining in distinctive warm coppery-gold or rose-gold traverses diagonally, appearing luminous and metallic. No speckling or texture — just stark contrast of metallic gold veining against absolute black. It's dramatically, theatrically luxurious.
What is Sahara Noir marble?
Sahara Noir is a prestigious natural marble from North Africa — deep black with distinctive golden-brown veining. It's one of the world's most sought-after dark marbles for luxury interiors. Unistone recreates this character with the practical benefits of engineered quartz — no staining, no sealing, 15-year warranty.
Does the metallic veining actually reflect light?
The coppery-gold veining has a luminous quality that catches and reflects light differently from the black base. Under warm lighting, the veining glows with genuine warmth. Under cooler light, the metallic quality becomes more silver-toned. This light-responsive quality adds dynamic luxury to the design.
Does a polished black surface show marks?
Yes — highly polished black is the most revealing surface for fingerprints, water spots, and dust. It's a trade-off for the dramatic luxury. Regular wiping with warm water and a microfibre cloth keeps it pristine. The non-porous quartz won't stain — marks are always surface level and easily removed.
What cabinetry suits Sahara Noir?
White cabinetry creates maximum drama — stark contrast between the pure black worktop and bright white units. For an immersive scheme, dark cabinetry creates an enveloping luxury. Rose gold or brushed copper hardware echoes the metallic veining beautifully. This design demands a kitchen designed around it as the centrepiece.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
