The Stone

See the natural beauty of Statuario up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Colour:

White Grey Charcoal

Bright white quartz with bold diagonal grey-charcoal veining — a dramatic, flowing Statuario marble recreation.

Unistone Statuario captures the grandeur of genuine Italian Statuario marble. Its bright white base is patterned with prominent, moderately dense veining running primarily diagonally from top-left to bottom-right. The veins combine light to medium cool grey with areas of darker, almost charcoal where lines converge or become more diffuse. The veining varies from fine threads to broader bands formed by intricate clustered networks, creating a flowing, somewhat broken movement. The polished finish has a distinct sheen that amplifies the bold grey-to-charcoal veining against the bright white base. Statuario has genuine presence — the directional flow and varied vein thickness create the kind of sweeping drama that makes natural Statuario marble one of the world's most prized stones. Manufactured by Brachot with Through Tone Technology. Over 90% natural quartz, NSF certified. 15-year warranty. Available in standard and jumbo slab formats. Supplied and installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Statuario

What does Unistone Statuario look like?
Statuario has a bright white base with prominent diagonal veining in light to medium cool grey, deepening to charcoal where veins converge. The veining ranges from fine threads to broader clustered bands with flowing, broken movement. The polished finish has a distinct sheen. It's a bold, dramatic recreation of genuine Statuario marble character.
What makes Statuario different from Carrara?
Statuario marble is traditionally bolder and more dramatic than Carrara — characterised by larger, more defined veining with greater contrast. Unistone follows this distinction: Statuario has prominent, bold grey-to-charcoal veining with sweeping diagonal flow, while the Carrara designs have finer, softer veining with gentler contrast. Statuario commands more attention.
Does the directional veining affect installation?
The strong diagonal flow means slab orientation matters during installation. In2Stone plans the layout during templating to ensure the veining flows naturally across worktop runs, around corners, and across joins. The jumbo slab format (3300 × 1650mm) helps achieve seamless runs. Proper planning is particularly important for bold, directional designs.
What cabinetry suits Statuario?
Simple, clean cabinetry lets the dramatic veining take centre stage. White handleless units create a classic marble kitchen. Dark charcoal or navy provides strong contrast. Chrome or brushed nickel hardware complements the cool grey veining. Avoid busy splashbacks or competing patterns that would clash with the already dramatic worktop.
How does Through Tone Technology benefit Statuario?
The bold, dramatic veining continues through the full slab thickness. This is particularly valuable for waterfall island edges and mitred joints where exposed quartz would otherwise show a blank white core. With Through Tone Technology, every visible surface displays the same sweeping Statuario character.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
