The Stone

See the natural beauty of Terreno up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Colour:

Grey

Cool mid-grey quartz with fine pale granular speckling — a calm, subtly textured composite stone surface.

Unistone Terreno translates its name — Italian for 'terrain' — into a surface that suggests the quiet texture of natural ground. Its consistent cool-toned mid-grey base is uniformly covered with a dense scattering of fine irregularly shaped flecks and granules in lighter cool-grey and off-white. These inclusions create a subtle granular visual texture without veining or directional movement. The smooth non-reflective matte or honed finish suits the understated character. Terreno is the cool counterpart to Jura Brown's warmth — both are densely speckled without veining, but Terreno is cooler and greyer. Manufactured by Brachot with Through Tone Technology. Over 90% natural quartz, NSF certified. 15-year warranty. Available in standard and jumbo slab formats. Supplied and installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Terreno

What does Unistone Terreno look like?
Terreno has a consistent cool mid-grey base uniformly covered with dense, fine irregularly shaped speckling in lighter cool-grey and off-white. No veining or directional movement. The matte finish is smooth and non-reflective. It reads as a calm, subtly textured grey composite — like natural stone aggregate.
How does Terreno compare to Jura Brown?
Both are densely speckled, non-veined designs with matte finishes, but in different colour families. Jura Brown has a warm brown-grey base with beige-toned speckling — warm and earthy. Terreno has a cool mid-grey base with cool-grey speckling — clean and neutral. Choose based on whether your kitchen leans warm or cool.
What does the name Terreno mean?
Terreno is Italian for 'terrain' or 'ground' — referencing the natural, earthy quality of the granular texture. The surface suggests the quiet texture of natural ground or stone — understated, honest, and grounded without referencing a specific stone type.
Is Terreno suitable for a bathroom?
Yes — the calm, neutral grey character works beautifully for bathroom vanity tops. The non-porous quartz handles moisture and cosmetics without staining. The fine speckling hides water marks effectively. The matte finish adds contemporary warmth in bathroom settings. Unistone quartz is for indoor use only.
What cabinetry suits Terreno?
The neutral cool grey is extremely versatile. White cabinetry creates a bright, clean scheme. Charcoal creates tonal depth. Natural timber adds warmth. The non-committal grey tone supports virtually any design direction. Both chrome and matt black hardware complement the cool palette.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
