Warm travertine character in sintered form — Geo Crema brings the classic beauty of layered Italian stone to any kitchen or bath.

Travertine endures as one of the most beloved natural stones in interior design, and Geo Crema captures its essence with remarkable fidelity. The slab displays the characteristic horizontal banding of Tivoli travertine — alternating layers of warm cream and sandy beige laid down in soft parallel bands across the full 3200mm length of the slab. In natural stone, these striations are formed over millennia by mineral deposits in thermal springs; in Geo Crema, Inalco's digital precision reproduces every nuance while eliminating the porosity, weight, and maintenance demands that can make genuine travertine challenging to live with. The textured finish reinforces the natural quality, introducing a subtle tactile dimensionality that makes the surface look and feel genuinely geological. Combined with its warm sandy palette, Geo Crema creates an atmosphere of comfortable, timeless elegance — neither too cool nor too ornate, it pairs equally well with contemporary kitchens and classic interiors. As a sintered stone, Geo Crema requires no sealing, will not stain from olive oil or wine, and is perfectly heat and scratch resistant. It suits family kitchens where beauty cannot come at the cost of practicality, and is equally at home in bathroom vanity applications or commercial hospitality environments. Available through In2stone, Portsmouth.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Geo Crema

What does Geo Crema look like?
Geo Crema is a warm sandy beige sintered stone with beautifully defined horizontal banding in alternating lighter cream and mid-sand tones. The striations run across the slab in soft parallel layers, faithfully reproducing the characteristic sedimentary structure of natural travertine. The textured finish adds tactile depth and reinforces the geological character. The overall palette is warm, inviting, and classically Italian in feel — genuinely reminiscent of Tivoli travertine and its characteristic layered beauty.
Is Geo Crema suitable for outdoor use?
Geo Crema is available in 12mm at CRL Stone, which is primarily an indoor specification. For outdoor applications, Inalco generally recommends 20mm thickness for load-bearing outdoor surfaces. However, its sintered stone composition — UV stable, frost-resistant, and stain-proof — makes it technically capable for sheltered outdoor settings such as covered terraces, garden rooms, or pergola kitchens at 12mm. Contact In2stone for specific guidance on your outdoor project requirements.
How does Geo Crema compare to real travertine?
Geo Crema reproduces the visual character of natural travertine without its practical limitations. Natural travertine is a porous limestone that requires sealing, is susceptible to acid etching from common foods and drinks, can pit and erode over time, and demands careful maintenance. Geo Crema in sintered stone is completely non-porous, requires no sealing, is stain and scratch resistant, and will not etch from acidic kitchen spills. The horizontal banding and warm sandy palette are preserved with strong visual fidelity through Inalco's digital manufacturing process.
What colours does Geo Crema pair well with?
Geo Crema's warm sandy beige palette pairs effortlessly with a wide range of kitchen cabinet colours. For a classic look, pair with off-white or cream shaker units and brushed brass hardware. For a more contemporary feel, warm grey or sage green cabinetry works beautifully against the sandy tones. Timber elements — oak, walnut, or pine — harmonise naturally with the travertine-effect aesthetic. Avoid cool stark white or cold grey units which can clash with Geo Crema's warm undertones.
Does Geo Crema need sealing?
No — Geo Crema requires absolutely no sealing, either at installation or at any point during its life. As a sintered stone, it is virtually non-porous by nature, making the periodic sealing that natural travertine demands entirely unnecessary. This is one of the most practical advantages of MDi travertine-effect surfaces over their natural stone equivalents, saving both time and maintenance cost over the lifetime of the worktop.

"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
