Meteora Gris

Named for the dramatic rock formations of northern Greece, Meteora Gris captures something of the ancient geological power of its namesake. The surface is studded with visible aggregate particles — irregular pebble-like inclusions of darler grey and warm rust tones embedded in a mid-grey matrix — creating a texture that feels genuinely excavated from the earth rather than engineered in a factory. Against this raw, particulate ground, the textured finish adds further depth: Meteora Gris is a surface you want to run your hand along as much as look at. Unlike Iseo Gris, which tends lighter and more refined, Meteora pushes toward the darker, more assertive end of grey stone design. It works particularly well in spaces that aspire to a certain rawness — open-plan kitchen-living rooms with exposed timber, brushed steel fittings, and an overall commitment to material honesty. Its darker mid-grey tone also makes it an excellent choice for darker kitchen schemes, where it creates continuity rather than contrast.
