Concrete Effect Mottled Industrial

Mid-grey quartz with subtle cloudy mottling and granular texture — a weathered, atmospheric concrete-effect surface.

Unistone Concreto captures the lived-in character of aged concrete. Its consistent mid-grey base carries subtle random tonal variations throughout, creating a soft cloudy or mottled pattern of low-contrast, non-directional movement rather than distinct veining. The matte or honed finish has a very fine understated granular texture, lacking any high reflectivity. Where Cemento is clean, fresh concrete, Concreto is weathered and atmospheric — the subtle mottling suggests a surface that has been exposed to weather, use, and time. It has more character and visual interest than a plain solid grey, making it engaging without being dramatic. Manufactured by Brachot with Through Tone Technology. Over 90% natural quartz, NSF certified. 15-year warranty. Available in standard and jumbo slab formats. Supplied and installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Concreto

What does Unistone Concreto look like?
Concreto has a consistent mid-grey base with subtle random tonal variations creating soft cloudy mottling. There's no distinct veining — just gentle, non-directional movement. The matte finish has a fine granular texture. It reads as weathered, atmospheric concrete — more lived-in and characterful than a plain solid grey.
How does Concreto compare to Naxos?
Both are concrete-effect designs, but at different intensity levels. Naxos has denser, more varied mottling with darker splotchy areas on a lighter base — more visually active. Concreto has subtler, more uniform tonal variations on a mid-grey base — calmer and more consistent. Naxos is raw; Concreto is refined.
What creates the weathered quality?
The subtle tonal variations across the mid-grey base create an effect that resembles naturally aged concrete. The soft cloudy movement and fine granular texture add to this lived-in quality. It's more characterful than a flat solid grey but far more restrained than a marble-effect design.
What kitchen styles suit Concreto?
The weathered concrete character suits industrial, contemporary, Scandinavian, and loft-style kitchens. Natural timber adds warmth. Matt black hardware reinforces the industrial aesthetic. White cabinetry creates clean contrast. The atmospheric quality creates kitchens with genuine material character and architectural honesty.
Is the matte finish easy to maintain?
Very easy — matte concrete-effect surfaces are among the most forgiving for daily use. The mid-grey colour and subtle mottling hide crumbs and marks effectively. Fingerprints and water spots are far less visible than on polished surfaces. Clean with warm water and mild detergent for lasting performance.

"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
