The Stone

See the natural beauty of Mont Blanc up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Colour:

Grey Charcoal

Pale cool grey quartz with horizontal charcoal banding — a stratified, geological natural stone surface.

Unistone Mont Blanc evokes the layered geological formations of its Alpine namesake. Its pale cool grey base carries dominant horizontal veining in shades of dark charcoal and medium grey with some bands exhibiting a streaky, layered internal texture. These horizontal bands are sparsely intersected by fine lighter grey diagonal lines that add subtle movement to the otherwise linear composition. The smooth finish with slight sheen keeps the design clean without speckling or granular texture. Mont Blanc stands apart from the flowing marble designs — its horizontal stratification creates a distinctly geological, sedimentary character. It looks like stone that was formed in layers over millennia. Manufactured by Brachot with Through Tone Technology. Over 90% natural quartz, NSF certified. 15-year warranty. Available in standard and jumbo slab formats. Supplied and installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Mont Blanc

What does Unistone Mont Blanc look like?
Mont Blanc has a pale cool grey base with dominant horizontal veining in dark charcoal and medium grey, some bands showing a streaky layered texture. Fine lighter grey diagonal lines sparsely intersect the horizontal bands. The finish is smooth with a slight sheen. It reads as a stratified, geological stone — layered and distinctly different from flowing marble designs.
What makes the horizontal banding distinctive?
Most marble-effect designs feature diagonal or flowing veining. Mont Blanc's horizontal banding creates a sedimentary, geological quality — it looks like stone formed in layers over millennia. The streaky internal texture within the charcoal bands adds authentic depth. Fine diagonal lines provide subtle movement without disrupting the horizontal flow.
What kitchen styles suit Mont Blanc?
The geological, stratified character suits contemporary, architectural, and industrial-luxe kitchen designs. It pairs well with clean-lined cabinetry in white, charcoal, or natural timber. The horizontal banding creates a strong linear quality that complements handleless designs. Matt black or brushed chrome hardware suits the cool, architectural palette.
How does Mont Blanc look on a large island?
The horizontal banding creates a strong, continuous visual rhythm across large surfaces. On an island, the layered geological pattern flows uninterrupted, creating a genuinely architectural feature. In2Stone aligns slab orientation during templating to maintain the horizontal flow. The jumbo format minimises joins across long runs.
Is Mont Blanc available in Velluto finish?
Yes — Mont Blanc is available in both Polished and Velluto finishes. The Velluto velvet matte finish softens the charcoal banding and creates a more tactile, contemporary feel. On a geological design like Mont Blanc, the matte finish reinforces the natural stone character — polished adds sheen and drama; Velluto adds warmth and authenticity.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
